So let's see.

Any Republican who falls beneath your standards becomes a lefty and/or a RINO.

We have Dubya, we have McCain, and now we have Arnold too.

You guys are going to start running out of people to elect.

Start? I thought that was how the Kenyan won the last election...

OK, I've been looking for a good place to plant this, and since it goes to the OP of WHY Jerry Brown is pulling far ahead of Meg Whitman, I hope you all enjoy it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmudJbnELoc

Funny thing is, I remember when Jerry Brown was governor of California back in the 70's and 80's, I wonder if other people remember it too.

Lucylastic -> RE: Brown doubles his lead over Whitman in California (10/25/2010 2:39:03 PM)

LOL thanks for that Rosalyn.

Karl Rove and ethics don't belong anywhere near one another, even as a joke.

That's fun, Rosalyn, but I think this ad nails why people are giving up on her.

Wow. That was clever.

And yeah, I'll bet very effective.

Fellow -> RE: Brown doubles his lead over Whitman in California (10/25/2010 8:12:57 PM)

I am wondering who would want to be a governor of California? Legally insane?

providing employment...

Fellow -> RE: Brown doubles his lead over Whitman in California (10/26/2010 1:31:34 AM)

I would vote for the businesswoman. At least there will be some chance for economy improvement. The lawyer career politician will sink  California deeper into mud without any doubt.

Well, help me out here Richie.

Are you suggesting the reason she is losing is because of Schwarzenegger?

Because if that is the case I have to ask why Republicans continually decry partisanship but when you do have elected representatives that are truly able to work with the opposing party you dismiss them as RINO's.

Even though when he was previously Governor California had a budget surplus?

Didn't I post some links on that for you recently?

I think it's strange that people forget that Brown has been Governor before, and during his tenure he gave California a record $5 Billion surplus while the nation suffered from record unemployment and double digit inflation. Jeebus, am I the only old fart who remembers the 70's? Hell, he was more fiscally conservative than Reagan!
And does anyone else remember that he did away with the big assed limo and drove himself to work? How about the gubernatorial mansion?
Yeah, he was a bit woo-woo, but I'll take woo-woo with a track record over the other alternative.

Sarah Palen

Shes new.  I do remember a Sarah Palin a while back, split from her job as Governor to run her mouth, built a bridge nowhere which you can see from your house.

But I wouldn't call her a conservative, unless it has the same connotations to you as 'ignorant cunt', and by god the republicans agree with me, thats another one been thrown under the bus by you guys.

There are many prominent righties who will tell you with a straight face...Palin will be a 'factor' in 2012 and may even run. As a factor...yes, she will continue to make most of us laugh with her hoof-in-mouth disease. As for running again...yes !!

Create some highly paid temporary...temporary employment, gets blown off the political map faster than Rudy (remember him ?) and then go back to running her mouth but...for a lot less money. Sarah Palin is the single funniest and most absurd politician to come along in my lifetime and is really just cashing in on her proverbial...15 minutes of fame.

BTW, Californians have figured Whitman out, nothing more than a for-profit capitalist...looking to buy her way to office.

Money spent by a candidate is not so much the concern as is spending by unknowns to denigrate by spreading lies and propaganda. It is a problem we are only beginning to face now.

You know its funny, do you remember a few years ago the Republicans trying to change the law so Schwarzenegger could run for President?

Now all of a sudden he is a lefty.
