Another update alleging murder for hire plot:
http://blogs.riverfronttimes.com/dailyrft/2011/03/bradley_cook_kirkwood_sex_slave_murder_for_hire.php

And a second guilty plea:
"...Fifty-one-year-old Dennis Henry of Wheatland pleaded guilty Thursday to involvement in a conspiracy to inflict sexual and other physical abuse upon the woman in a trailer home in a wooded area in Lebanon and at other locales...."

I actually knew Ed, briefly when i was in my late teens/early 20's. I ran into him at some of the bars. One of the other guys' names is familiar too. If i recall from what Mom told me the girl has a slight mental retardation.

I don't remember much about Ed or the other guy.. i think it's Stokes but can't be sure, outside of the fact i was told strictly to never be around them without an escort i could trust and to never go anywhere alone with them.

There always seem to be a few people confused at the distinction between Domliness and Pimpdom, there is a line there somewhere.

Sure it's called ethics....it's the difference between a sadistic dominant and an abusive sick bastard.

Thanks for the update.

I wonder if the 4 men who plead guilty got decent deals and will be testifying against the Bagleys.

In addition to the four men convicted of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking, Edward Bagley Sr., 43, of Lebanon, faces federal charges, including conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and forced labor trafficking. Bagley's wife, Marilyn Bagley, 45, also faces federal charges of sex trafficking conspiracy.

angelikaJ -> RE: Consensual or not? (1/11/2012 3:28:13 PM)

That is apparently how the deals are working: they testify against Mr and Mrs.

Sentencing info for the various defendants:

Of note to me (FV = female victim):

Cook was aware that the victim was coerced into these sexual acts and that she was unable or did not want to consent to any of these acts.

Noel told prosecutors that even though he knew that FV hated being electrocuted with a crank phone (which was wired inside FV’s vaginal and anal openings and to her toes), which he described as “extremely painful,” he used it on her anyway.

Update:

Mo. man seeks escape from solitary confinement, asks judge to sentence him in sex slave case

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The lawyer for a suburban St. Louis man convicted in a sex trafficking conspiracy asked a judge Tuesday to set a sentencing date or explain why his client is still being kept in solitary confinement six months after he pleaded guilty.

Bradley Cook, 33, of Kirkwood, has been in solitary confinement since December 2010, which is about when prosecutors say they learned he tried to hire a hit man to kill a woman once kept as a sex slave and the lead prosecutor in the case.

Cook has denied involvement in any such scheme. He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion in a deal that calls for him to receive a 20-year prison sentence. He is being held in a western Missouri jail.

"He suffers from an extremely restrictive form of pretrial detention where he is unable even to leave his cell without the entire facility's being locked down," attorney Carter Collins Law wrote in a motion requesting a July sentencing date.

"He gets no recreation, much less outside recreation. He is rarely even permitted a change of bed linens."

Cook was arrested in September 2010 on charges that he participated in the sexual torture of a young woman held for years as a sex slave in a rural Lebanon mobile home.

She evidently lived with them for at least a year (two depending on who you believe) and didn't start having sex with them till she was 18. Now unless that turns out to be a lie, that would mean that they waited till she was at the age of consent.

No. Unless that turns out to be a lie, they waited a year AFTER she reached the AoC to begin having sex. The AoC in MO being 17, not 18.

In other news, nearly everything in the BDSM lifestyle is illegal. Duh. Your conception of "safe, sane and consensual" isn't going to prevent you from going to jail if the authorities find out what you're doing. Fortunately, practically no one ever does the type of stuff that's written about on this site in real life. That's why stories like this make the news. Meanwhile you can find several hundred profiles of 18 year olds on Collarme claiming to have done more extreme things. Of course, all of them are fake. Which makes CM a joke site. But you knew that already, didn't you?
