Hello. I'm 'Shortstack'. You know...like pancakes? :)

I like to write, dance, cook, and read. I am married. My husband and I are working on trying to figure out how to transition from 'husband and wife' to something that appeals to my submissive side and his dominant one.

For what it's worth, it was the 'Gorean' portions of the forums that made me create an account. It is this type of relationship that I'm interested in talking with other people about most. John Norman wasn't the best writer, but I think I 'get' what he was trying to say....and there are parts that I really attune to.

I'm fairly certain that a person cannot get any 'newer' to the BDSM scene than me, and it's for that reason that I am looking for 'friends only'. I am not looking for a 'Master' or a 'Dom'; I'm looking for intelligent and informed people to talk with.

'Baby steps' and 'lots of education' is where I'm at.

I look forward to getting to know you all better!

This is a good place to learn about things.
I know what you mean about good but not great writers who make some good points, and can be related to. I feel the same way about Robert Jordan. ( And I can hear the howls of RJ devotees for my blood for that statement!)

Welcome to CM and the boards. If the Gor style appeals to you, there's the Gorean forum you can check out, lots of info there.

Welcome Short, you want a transition from husband and wife, you don't need to go far. You do all the house work, he sits around drinking beer, eating pizza, watching tv and telling you what to do, just like now really!
