I think this is funny and sad all in one.   Funny because although the concentration is upon 3 the fallout may go to the entire slate of incumbent jurists.   Sad because if it carries throughout the system it will devistate the state's judicial system.   Good because it will send a message that I have heard all sides say from time to time (depends upon the issue and who won/lost what) that jurists legislate from the bench.

Well, here in Colorado, a new law was recently passed (HB1284) that is an incomprehensible mess.  The legislators are forcing the judges to legislate from the bench because the law is unconstitutional in places, and a muddle in others.

This whole concept of legislating from the bench is ridiculous.

That's why we have judges folks, to interpret the law.
