ANyhow- It likely will be a 3 way split of my vote this time too.

I'm not familiar with the US voting system ... isn't splitting your vote 3 ways a bit like not turning up at all?

(genuine question - I don't know the voting system used)

Nope.

Consider that on the state level the GOP might be best for my valley- but the DEMS might be better on the federal level.

Carny D. is seeking re-election- he voted AGAINST TARP-  so - I might vote for him.

My local rep WILL be the GOP.

Govr I may go with the GOP- we got all new bridges last time and now we want a thru way (locally)

Ah right, with you now - so you're voting on local as well as national politicians at the same time? We do that in the UK too, depending on which election is due when. It’s moving to a fixed-term thing shortly, or so we’ve been told.

Cheers for the explanation.

I can not afford Cook county.

Neither could the Blues Brothers, so you're in good company.

The title of the thread is typically misleading. First, he pushed her down with his foot. You can argue about the defintion of "stomp" if you like, it doesnt meet mine. But it is absolutely clear that it wasnt her head, but her shoulders.

What is absolutely clear to you, as always, isnt absolutely clear to everyone else. Stomp or not the guys heel was on her head and not her shoulder.

Not that your opinion matters much, it will be what the Police and the Judge decide. What gets me is your rush to defend this jerk from attacking a woman.

What gets me is that you lie once again about what someone posted. Show me where I defended him? And his heel is not on her head.

tazzygirl -> RE: Rand supporter stomp on womans head (10/27/2010 2:46:55 PM)

Sure seems that way

Why is she on the ground?

is she protesting something?

tazzygirl -> RE: Rand supporter stomp on womans head (10/27/2010 2:56:50 PM)

She was pushed to the ground, pa, by the same men who are around her in that photo.

Because she attempted to assault RP and was subdued.

tazzygirl -> RE: Rand supporter stomp on womans head (10/27/2010 3:06:06 PM)

LOL

there were no assault allegations against the woman.

Correct.   The was a woman who did the same- but it was NOT this woman.

Wrong, but thank you for playing.

Next week on "English Reading Comprehension 101" we'll be learning how to order a cheeseburger without starting WWIII.

Anatomy lesson. Neck and shoulders != head

tazzygirl -> RE: Rand supporter stomp on womans head (10/27/2010 3:15:38 PM)

I think you need your eyes checked. His heel is at the level of her ear. Try again.

Take it up with CNN. They reported that she attempted to "rush" RP and that is why she was subdued. You do know what assault is, right?

Pants leg != foot. Try again.

IdiotMale -> RE: Rand supporter stomp on womans head (10/27/2010 3:20:16 PM)

I wish a woman would stomp on my head.

tazzygirl -> RE: Rand supporter stomp on womans head (10/27/2010 3:21:43 PM)

He is male, By the size of his feet and the position of his pants leg, along with the Drs report of a concussion, you can believe whatever the fuck you want... as usual you are wrong.

Yeah, rushing up to someone does not constitute assault. What they did to her does.

What woman.   There was "a" woman, and then there is "the" woman.

So whom?

tazzygirl -> RE: Rand supporter stomp on womans head (10/27/2010 3:24:12 PM)

We are speaking of the one in the photo, pa.
