I'd go for that, but I use a mutually owned building society for all my banking  - I got stung by bank charges 30 years ago, and I never want anything to do with a traditional bank ever again.

I hope the French succeed. I like the French.

Do you think history repeats itself?

That there is a threat that history will repeat itself when the population forgets it or disregards the lessons of history?

Because- no matter who has what idea- history comes into play.  And even Obama/ pick one-  can not change historical precedent.

Changing history worlds as well as changing gravity.

There is a 4 generation cycle... where the current generation will make the mistakes of the great grandparents.

If you would feel better I could start pulling my links from Larouch.

While you get into politics- the history of monetary policy plays into the equation way more then one would guess.

My wealth is pretty important to me- my lifes work- my nest egg.

@Pah, ya might enjoy working out the standalone change in the value of silver, rather than the change in the value of silver compared to the value of the US$. Inflation etc.
