Yep, that's what I meant about reaping the effects of all that nuclear testing, earth quakes, volcanos, weather patterns and of course the warming cooling thing some scientists say is happening but others say is not. All that heat that turns rock to ash, where did all go, oh absorbed by our atmosphere it can cope, but can it, it seems not where cfc's are concerned that or C02 and then what about the radiation and other residues of a nuclear explosion. Below ground, well we know tectonic plates are always on the move, but they move so slowly and an earthquake is the vibration from plates grinding against each other, but it is so slow in it's action, say a tremendous instantaneous vibration is set up in the earth, the result of an underground nuclear detonation, how far do those vibrations travel and what do they act upon along the way. I noticed with interest the sheer number of nuclear detonations I assume below ground on the western seaboard of the USA, area 51 perhaps and with reports of California being on a unstable fault line I am thinking about those underground nuclear detonations. Because nothing yet perhaps obvious has happened that can be attributed to the testing, or the arms race wall pissing and dick waving as I believed it to be, who says we will not yet reap the after effects of people perhaps long gone or at least in another even safer part of the country/world. It would be sadly ironic if at some point we realise the futility of war, resign it to the trash can of history and start living with peace to all men that the next war that will assault us is the planet reacting to our past stupidities. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
