The desire to be diaper trained seems to be a male dominated fantasy. Why is it so difficult to find a dom to take it seriously as a lifestyle endeavor? Do people say they want to be diaper trained and fail to commit ?

No. I think it has much more to do with the fact that it is not a very popular kink and a large majority of female Dominants want nothing to do with it.

You might benefit greatly from reading the FAQ listed at the top of the forum and do a search of past threads on the key words "diaper" and "adult baby". In doing so, you'll see the responses from an overwhelmingly majority of women that have no interest in this particular kink.

I think diaper play is often confused with "infantilism", or being an "adult baby". While there is nothing wrong with that, diaper play can be a great form of humiliation and control.

Which is your opinion and you're entitled to it. However, not everyone shares your enthusiasm. (Hey, I have kinks that not everyone likes as well.) This is why I directed you to search for past threads. Women on these boards have come out in large numbers to say why they don't like the practice. At this point, many of us would just be repeating ourselves on the subject.

There is a dominant male who used it in much the same way you mention in your dominant angled profile, who posted a lot on that thread.

At the moment, you are coming across as a switch?... you might want to consider changing your orientation as submissive women finding your posts here might see you as less than honest in your profile.

Maybe I'm not seeing the whole picture here. I just don't see how someone needs to be trained to use diapers. Babies do it automatically from birth. If you gotta go and the diaper is your only choice, then you use the diaper. That is simple biology, not training.

It's not that I can't see it as a viable kink. From the interest I've seen on the boards over the years there are people into the kink. I have no problem with that at all.

Out of curiosity, does the diapered person expect another to change the dirty diapers or is the diapered person willing to do that for themselves?

I am a domme that enjoys all aspects of diaper training and ab. In my experience there seems to be an interest by both doms and subs.

The short answer is - If I wanted to wipe a shitty ass or watch someone wet themselves, I'd pop out a kid. I want a MAN, someone who's toilet trained and enjoys doing his business on the big boy potty.

I appreciate all the comments posted. I was interested in some different view points. AngelikaJ suggested a thread that provided a lucid and well thought view on the subject. Diaper training means different things to different people. Whether or not someone wets or messes their diaper or gets changed or changes themselves is something that should be decided by the participants. The psychological component of this type of play is really the goal. It's all about control of the individual on a very basic level, not shitting their diaper. Thanks again for all the comments.

Thanks for adding more information Robbie, to be honest I had always thought that diaper/nappy training or play would include the person having to actually use it instead of going to the bathroom
