A friend sent me this link. After reading it, I wondered if the management team at this office just watched Secretary before they tried this "team building" tactic... (so very odd) [sm=confused.gif] http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/04/26/spanking.case.ap/index.html walks away shaking head, don't know whether to giggle nervously, or look to see if my boss comes in to work with a paddle tomorrow...

They are right down the street from me...i was about to go apply for a job on their sales team until i read they stopped this practice in 2004. I'm always a day late and a paddle short!

LMFKAO and Wonders, What the Fuck Were They Thinking??? I then asked why the hell she let it happen??? I'm sure if she'd raised enough ruckus immediately they'd have backed off, sure she might have lost her job but not her Dignity as she did... Now she's lost the Job anyways, & her dignity but she's going to get Paid... Just Shakes My Head & wonders at the Sue'em Mentality!!!

I would have sued them too. Where does the blame-the-plaintiff mentality come from? You find it everywhere; I have to say, I find it quite ignorant. It was on the front page of the Fresno Bee [above the fold no less] this morning.I read the article that came out a few days ago and that one as well. I though it would be a 'fun' article, it turned out to be something kinda stupid. She was not the only person 'spanked' and she had seen the fun in it in the past when others got 'spanked.' It just goes to show you that as long as their is a lawyer out there who things they can make a buck and get their name out to as many people as possible their will be lawsuits like that. Rediculas.
