Sorry, but this doesn't have anything to do with dynamics. The guy is a straight-up thief and the OP was trying to guilt him into giving back her property by bringing a third person into it when contacting him directly didn't work. I think she's being completely reasonable, and even though she's very unlikely to get back her toys, I don't see the slightest trace of disrespect or stalkerish behavior. Frankly, if the items he stole were worth more than a hundred dollars, I would inform him that I would be reporting the theft to the police if I didn't have the items back in a week, and then see if that got a response from him. Not all of us are rich, and BDSM gear can be incredibly expensive.

And no, it has nothing to do with being respectful to all Dom/mes or anything like that. When he refused to return her property, he relinquished the right to keep his theft a secret from whoever she happened to tell. She happened to tell his new Mistress. Was it the bigger person thing to do? Probably not. But to hell with being a bigger person - she wanted her stuff back.

that.

And whilst I agree that I would take potential informations from others with caution I would question him if I would be his Mistress as I would not fancy to be potentially the next one in case this ends up in more than a one-off behaviour from him.

I'm wondering why the new Domme isn't telling the slave to give the property back to the OP. I'd ask the slave if it was true and if it was, get it back to her. Then I would punish him for being a little slimer.

How much was the stuff worth?

Some of those collars can run into the tens of thousands.

This probably isn't worth the time you're spending on it. But. If it was a pricey toy set he walked away with, that changes the equation.

eerr...tens of thousands?? You're joking right? Unless it's made of diamonds I'm doubting one costs tens of thousands. Being it was a training collar I'm going to guess a piece cheap of leather or a dog collar.

BDSM is illegal in many places. Reporting the theft to the police isn't a good idea. It's possible that She would get in much more trouble than him.

Look, it sucks that She doesn't get her stuff back. But, i think it's just one of those things. Relationships don't always end well. But trying to make him look bad to his new Mistress only makes Her look worse. Plus, it won't get Her Her things back. Besides, if he's that untrustworthy, it's better to know it sooner rather than later.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. It could have been a lot worse.

I appreciate all the replies received to my post.  No, I wasn't stalking him. And I purposely didn't mention any names in order not to 'blacklist' anyone.  I wanted honest opinions and I got them.  Its good to get thoughts and opinions of others, don't you think?

Relationship?  They met 3 times.  I wouldn't quite call it a relationship.  I am curious about the agreement that was in place regarding the toy and collar.  Were they gifts?  Sounds like they were on loan?  And it sounds like she is upset that he flaked on her.  He may have had good reason to do so, yet not many are acknowledging that fact, even after knowing that she was stalking his profile and marking his every move.

Lets put this another way....

A stranger comes to you and tells you about some past misdeeds of your current slave before they were yours?

What would you do?...... Well... It's a stranger.... and if anything they tell me I should consider above the words of my slaves.... then I would have to question my trust and judgement in my slaves in the first place. It seems rather upside down to hold greater weight to the words of a stranger compared to the words of my slaves. I know any stranger tried to speak ill of my girls would get a less than a warm response. I have taken the time to know my girls before they came mine!!

Nope. Not joking; though clearly that's the upper end of the scale. Collars that cost a Benny or two are much more common. And then you've got your $29.95 patent leather special. Which is probably the item under discussion.

But I saw a clown choker in the mall one time going for 11k, in one of the center stands. Not even a major jewelry outlet. It was something only a juggalo could love. So I'll believe anything, really.

OP you are expecting that just because you use the same label, she will believe everything you say. If that's the case, I have a bridge to sell. She doesn't know if you're someone trustworthy or not, she would be foolish to believe an ex with an obvious axe to grind.

She doesn't know you so why should she believe you? She shouldn't.

Whether or not your explanation or his of your brief relationship is the truth, nobody knows. I'm sure his take on it was very different than yours. And there is no way that anyone can find out now what really happened.

Move on.
