Calandra -> In depth technical advice? (4/27/2006 1:31:41 AM)

I notice that with the growth of the internet, more and more resource sites are appearing when I do web searches. I find articles and message boards devoted to ethical discussions, photo galleries, personals sites, etc. What I don't find are articles with specific, detailed advice about how to DO WIITWD successfully.

I realize that advice should always be considered and weighed before choosing to apply it. Let's face it, some advice is simply BAD. Sometimes advice is specific to certain people or certain situations.

Am I overlooking something, or is there some reason that detailed advice about our most personal bodily functions simply isn't there?

I'll give a couple of examples...

There are techniques that will help a person successfully handle physical pain. I'm aware of meditation and breathing techniques that I was taught when I submitted years ago. A close friend does some sort of four-count breathing rhythm that is tailored to accepting a paddling that will ultimately bring her to orgasm without any genital contact. I've witnessed it and it's beautiful. I think other sub/slaves could benefit from this type of article.

When I do anal training, I teach several methods of manipulating the abdominal and anal muscles to help assure less pain and more pleasure. It has helped a number of subs to accomodate their Masters in a way that enhances both of their pleasure and allows them to relax and bond from the experience.

I've heard a lot recently about figging. I'd love to read articles and maybe have dialogue with people who have done it successfully in order to make informed choices about whether this is something I'd like to do, but I find almost no detailed information about how it works, why it works, and what possible side effects or pitfalls I might want to be prepared for...

Does anyone know of detailed resource sites where the contributors take the time to explain things without shame or embarassment?

I think that certain forums and message boards tend to have "experts" based on the theme of that forum. I've seen/heard/read of virtually every type of fetish and an accompanying website for it. Rarely (never) do I see one site that has an all encompassing and accurate amount of information on all subjects. Yes there is a dearth of info on figging compared to other fetishes so far but that will probably change rapidly. Maybe its better to ask others about specific links or advice on individual topics?

IronBear -> RE: In depth technical advice? (4/27/2006 3:10:26 AM)

I'm gradually adding more information to my HOme iron Bear site on World Groups (am dividing my time between that my Pagan Site as well as my personal sites migrated from MSN... Most of what I have is to be found in a variety of BDSM sites and I'm spending time trying to locate the authors of the material.. I'll continue to try to keep such information updated and am hoping several friends "in the know" may write a couple of articals or teaching papers for me too....
