ORIGINAL: sunshinemiss As an aside, I'm wondering where some of these things come from. I've determined that "redding up" comes from German / Dutch but haven't been able to figure out where the 20 ott 9 (the ott part) comes from. Any ideas? And Red, I didn't look at the video, but I'm a try (that's Yanke talk) to guess. Is that (by chance) the DW episode where Julia talks about putting the crazy people right out there for everyone to see? GIRL that is some freaky stuff that I can read your mind. There must be medicine for that. Do go on down the sundry store and pick up some pills for me, will you? best sunshine And for all y'all who need a little good ole, Southren cooking... and Soutren Baptist appreciation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZI0zO2TS1Y An excellent song. Rather right on the money, too, about the preaching... and preaching... and preaching... and preaching.... Miss Sunshine, y'all are right about the DW episode. DW is indeed the heart and soul of every good, spunky, Southren gal. As to gettin' y'all some pills, I'll get around to it directly, cross mah heart and hope to dah, I will. [;)] As to the "ott" thing, I'm not sure, but in Sri Lanka, they call it 20 "naught" 9. Maybe us Southren folks dropped the "n" as we are a bit want to do, and made it "ott."
