Here's how it works. You're in a queue (waiting for a job, or something) and the person in front of you is given $200 by some guy in a lab coat. Lab Coat Guy asks you: 'Do you want to make some money?' and proceeds to explain the game. Here's how it works. The person with the $200 has to share the money with you. If you accept what he offers, then you both get to keep your share of the money. If you turn it down, then Lab Coat Guy takes the $200 back and leaves, and neither of you get a cent. Here's what happens. The guy with the $200 offers you $20, keeping $180 for himself. Why is it called the Ultimatum Game? Because this is the offer. There is no negotiation. No second offer. Take it or leave it. Sooooo, what do you do? Bonus question, just out of interest - Sub/Slave, Master/Mistress or Switch?

slave and I'd take the offer. $20 is better than nothing for doing absolutely nothing except stand there and agree to the game. $20 will pay for my daily coffee and bus to work.
