I love 'em all! [except the do-me guy described by the OP: that's not a lover, that's a client or a one-night stand].
The straight vanilla, the convertible vanilla, the seasoned subbie: all yummy in their own delicious ways, with this in common: they love to help in the vanilla world, they love to share sexual pleasure, and they're all good and interesting men outside the bedroom.
For me, a good relationship depends on great sex and great conversation: one or the other isn't enough, but both together are a fabulous feedback loop: the more you make me laugh, the more I want to kiss you: and if 'kiss you' includes fucking your ass, woohoo!
