I have personal knowledge of why it's a secret ballot. See?

Yes I do, because there are some people who lack the integrity to not abuse what is not secret.

Some still manage to abuse it anyway just from what they overhear.

Well, he is their top-rated guy... which is sad. It looks like they let him sweat for the weekend, though.
