Nice dodge.

But if you are going to say it then back it up.

Don't just throw out loose accusations as if it is common knowledge.

Provide the proof.

Democrat version of Palin?

If you discount their difference in backgrounds, and focused on their mean-spirited, ice cold politics, then I'd say Teddy Kennedy.

Palin is nice looking enough but what got the attention is the photo shots of her wearing a stars and stripes bikini and posing with the rifle.

Now that's hot!

I don't think the Democrats could come up with anything to match that. You never know, though. If Lindsay Lohan were a registered Democrat maybe they could have a shoot with her in prison colored rough hemmed lingerie. Might work, might not.

Liberal lion?   Liberal jackass.

Both have an arrogance that a lack of accountability to their past means nothing going forward, both suffer from foot-in-mouth disease.

And add to that ....Any arrogence Ted suffered from was accompanied by a more than passing knowledge of the issues he was speaking of.....Palin operates under no such "encumbrance"
The comparison holds no water at all....cepting maybe your dislike for both individuals...which is cool and all,but does not justify your attempt to place the two of them in the same box.,

It is a common knowledge. At least it it should be. Obviously, many brain dead Democrats ignore this knowledge or are OK with it. These days everyone can do their own investigation: lot of it can be studied in more detail using just the Internet resources.
Dodd-Frank-Schumer are just an extension to financial services industry interest.  Follow the line and you will not be dissappointed what you find. All this garbage is funneled through Pelosi-Reid axis.
These people have accumulated significant amount of personal wealth while "working hard" in the Congress. (Hard to compete with Clintons though who reported earnings 107 million during 2001 to 2007). Reid had his sons working as lobbyists, now he moves them into big politics. Even Reid election win is considered highly suspicious (after all we are in Las Vegas).

Yes, and I assumed everyone did by now. It was invoked in the spirit of the silliness of the whole premise.

Huh?  Kennedy was known for getting deals done, and in being a Senator.  Palin's a talking head, an endorser, a speechmaker.  Whether you liked Kennedy or not, you had to admit that he got stuff done.  Palin's a quitter and I doubt she'll ever hold elected office again.

You obviously disliked Ted Kennedy, and he had his problems, even so you have to admit he was an intelligent, articulate man with firm beliefs who did a lot of good for this country.

To compare him with Palin, a woman whose main interest is becoming a celebrity, is beyond ridiculous.

Rule, take another slug of that Kool-Ade.
I'm from Massachusetts and Ted Kennedy was a nasty drunk who was famous for stiffing bartenders and waitresses. He'd slip into the gents and then slip out the door without paying.
What do they say about people who treat bartenders and waitresses badly?
He was expelled from Harvard for cheating.
"Articulate?" "I,...ah,...ah,....think that,.....ah, ah, we should, .....ah,....ah....."
He was called "The Wizzard of Ahs!"

I don't even know where to begin.

First, your admonishment about never being convicted holds no weight because there was nothing to bring charges on, much less to convict.

There was nothing that even rises to the the level of an ethics violation in any of your links.

Do I think some of these things were inappropriate?  Yes, but they are not the corruption you claim.  This is standard operating procedure for Congress.  I can give you the same type of laundry list using Republican politicians.

Pelosi's predecessor, Dennis Hastert, was far more notorious for taking advantage of Congressional perks.

So, let's not make this about Democrats.

If you want to reform Congressional rules, fine, but to claim there was any corruption here is a ridiculous reach.

Yeah, I was waiting to hear from you on this Popeye.

The problem is you focus on his personal issues.  Which may or may not be true.  The thing is I don't really care.

We elect people to do a job and that is what I judge them on, what they have or have not done while in office.

Personally I don't care if he was banging those waitresses and still not tipping them.

popeye, what's your point?  Are you saying that Palin is like Kennedy because she goes to bars and stiffs bartenders?
