I always laugh at the idea of submission being a gift, because to me a gift is something you give with out expectations, of the person, or what they'll do with the gift and I sure in the hell have expectations when I submit to someone, and what they do with my submission.

I like metaphors. But not overused ones like "gift".

Perhaps, you could say they are letting you have some of the center heart of their watermelon, when most people would rather divide it fairly equally. And sometimes, vanilla people haven't even been acquainted well enough with fruits to know what the reddest, sweetest, juiciest, most perfect part of the watermelon would be.

Could be worse. Poor Val only gets gummi bears. At least poise's deal gets the guy a soda AND a straw. But then I only require ten punches for half a bag so he gets them more frequently.

I can totally compare masochism to a lawn chair.

You see you buy your chair - either shiny and new at the store or maybe you get out that has already been around a few seasons and has some marks. Then you possess it, take it for your own. And the chair is always there, always will to submit to your pleasures as you abuse that chair for hours. Drinking beer with your friends and eating hot wings.
