Whatever happens between two people outside of a public forum is personal and private and should be kept that way. Anyone that brings personal issues into a public forum simply to degrade or humiliate the other only serves to make the one doing it look bad. I automatically avoid that sort of person.

One is better off not making enemies.

If someone chooses to become your enemy, you have little actual control over their decision.

What you do have control over, is how you react to their decision to "become your enemy".

I don't wonder why I refer to the flaming post ...because it was a turning point for me......as hard as it may be for you to believe...I was a very open and trusting person.....after all why not be....but ...after that event....I learned a real life lession about the nature of people.....(in reference to those on this site)....like a slow drip..drip..drip on the head...that sign post up ahead...that pause to remind.....everythings possible..and no matter what you do or how you are in your life off line....something like it can jump up and bite you in the rear end just as well.....I still have a faith and trust and belief that people are what they present to me....but my views of the intent behind a post...makes me consider it's origin and why it's here.......if this upsets you...well that's on you.....but then again..maybe you think I'm only supposed to express a view from your standpoint....so if I say...oh yes I agree...or what they said...would that be better.....or should I just shut up..remain silent and unseen...and just read....ok...I have nothing to contribute....

and I thought this thread was about bad experiences on this site.....

Consensus seemed to be to make the duck's back.  Idiots and assholes shine brightly in the garish light of day, makes em rather easy to spot and then the aggrieved party assumes stature with the innateness of being.

Fuck 'em... if you are looking for the bottom line.  Let them be the flash in the pan.

MasterFury, girl loves  Your pic, but on the subject would like to ask this ..

If it is noted in profile that collars are not accepted upon first meeting. Meaning not just online but person as well.

Why is it that no one seems to get the point that .. you simply don't know one another well enough to make that kind of commitment?

LadyHugs -> RE: Bad experiences with other CM users? (4/28/2006 3:50:25 PM)

Dear MrMister, Ladies and Gentlmen;

I have had several individuals that have lead an all out assault on my name, reputation, character, skills, knowledge and or information.  Unless they have been my shadow and walked my journey, they really go on assumptions and not on facts.  What I offer here or any "site" is a mere thimble full of information, knowledge and such.  To give a person(s) more, that knowledge and information, skills and such are earned--not given away.

However, I will part with this pearl of wisdom.  When a person is speaking out of anger, hate or negatives, what they see in others is what they see in themselves.

Unfortunately, with this site or any other text media; one is not allowed the opportunity to hear the heart, the spirit of intent, the voice or facial expressions along with text.

So, it is painful to hear false assumptions by strangers however, as most have said; actions speak louder than words.  Only you can control your own world, not another's. This holds true in the text media and or in BDSM groups and communities.

Respectfully submitted,
Lady Hugs

No criticism of other users, vulgarity, or illegal activities.

nastyslavebitch,

The above is taken from CMs notice when you got to make a journal entery. I am sorry you may feel you are hurt , pissed or even upset. However, I read your profile and I personally think that the mods should either make you change it or remove it.Though that is just my opinion.

I understand your TOS point but personally I think that anyone that's looking at a profile like this will see the person for what they are. Personally when I see something that can best be described as a rant in the form of a profile it saves me time and effort because I can see right off the bat it's not someone I'd be interested in.

What kind of freaks are you speaking with that they believe a collar should be slapped on first meeting?!?

LadyKim -> RE: Bad experiences with other CM users? (4/28/2006 8:29:55 PM)

I have notified moderators of the problems with a stalker on here that has done the same thing to me that wickedgoddess4u described.  At last count, he had created over 40 separate handles to contact me.  I was told that the user could not be traced, and just keep putting him on ignore.  Wondering why other websites CAN identify these people and block them, but it is not possible on this site.  Any clue?

rajeeyah -> RE: Bad experiences with other CM users? (4/28/2006 8:44:29 PM)

oddly enough several from here on CM. Just freaked me out that they would try that, they don't even know me.

Lordandmaster -> RE: Bad experiences with other CM users? (4/28/2006 9:04:57 PM)

The only CM user I've ever had serious trouble with is LRODANDMASTER.  He types a lot of offensive shit and people are liable to think it's me...

LaM, you owe me a monitor and keyboard if I can't get the iced tea off before it damages them, laughs, too funny, I should know when I see your avatar to swallow before I read, or risk splattering everything with whatever I'm drinking!!!!!!!!!![sm=ofcourse.gif]

MHOO314 -> RE: Bad experiences with other CM users? (4/29/2006 4:31:50 AM)

ahem Ladies and Gentlemen, adults do not air their dirty laundry in a public forum--opinions about issues are one thing, but the clothesline is out back, not here.

LadyKim -> RE: Bad experiences with other CM users? (4/29/2006 5:40:05 AM)

MH,

While I agree that it is in bad taste and form to say something like.......... Sub X did A, B, C, D, E, F, and can you believe he had the nerve to try and get by with G???  Don't talk to him.   I do not believe it is 'airing dirty laundry' to point out that there should be a way for the site coordinators to trace problem people who are creating multiple profiles to stalk and harrass people.  It may not belong in the General discussion area; however, it is something that needs to be addressed.

Wulfchyld -> RE: Bad experiences with other CM users? (4/29/2006 5:50:16 AM)

For sake of electronic harmony I have severely disciplined the following subs:

X, A, B, C, D, E, F, and G.

If they get out of line again I will be unleashing BitaTruble on them. I now return you to your regularly scheduled rant and rave.

foxnotinsox -> RE: Bad experiences with other CM users? (4/29/2006 5:52:12 AM)

Hey everybody has bad experiences, and can be hurt. However, these feelings are only your own to deal with. Lashing out is counter-productive, and only serves to rip open the wound once again. For hurt to heal, ya gotta deal .. and deal with it yourself.

Blaming isn't going to work either .. for it heaps all the responsibility on one, when it is the responsibility of both. In other words, it is victimizing oneself. And unjustly so at the expense of the other. That is unfair... escalates .. breeds bad blood .. and really who would want to get involved with somebody who was unable to control themself? For that is what this action [of accusing a person rather than of learning from the experience] indicates to me ..

From what I can see there are unresolved anger issues .. that are best dealt with in another forum, perhaps with a third-party removed from the situation. Also good to step back, and look at it from an "unemotional" point of view .. that is, objectively rather than subjectively.

Bad experiences? oh yeah, I've had a few ..
the good ones though =) are the better ones to focus on..
Enjoy the day!
