Let me get this straight they want to cut a whole hundred million and the repubs want to cut a hundred billion ? Even a hundred billion means shit. All lip service, which is apparently what we are paying for. Neither side is going to treat our money like their own, no matter what. They might as well get on with the default process, and right before dropping that hammer spend as much as possible. That's one thing they should be able to do proficiently. I have already set it to numbers, we cannot make enough money to pay it off, so this lip service will just result in us giving up things and continuing to pay interest on all those trillions forever. And not one dime comes out of "their" pockets, slush funds or Learjet fuel bill. Yes the democrats are bad, but don't let that fool you into thinking the republicans are any better. They claim to be fiscally responsible but each and every one of them has no idea what that means. Each and every one of them is out for themselves and their buddies, which is the same thing because as said - one hand washes the other. In their position what would you do ? They know we are fucked, they inherited a mess and anyone who wants to do something about it is put out, cut out or outed somehow. Their logical choice is to get themselves set for life and be prepared to get gone fast WTSHTF. There are two priorities, staying in office and amassing true wealth, which has nothing to do with money. What do you see them doing ? Put a hundred billion in perspective with twelve trillion. It's about the same as saving a hundred bucks on something that costs twelve grand. The numbers just look good to the sheeple with all those zeros in them. Even Ron Paul can't fix this, it would require a trade surplus for decades as well as cutting about 75% of annual spending. All this while pretending to be a nanny state or a warrior state. What's more even those unpleasant options don't come easy without a default. The other option is simple, come up with the twelve trillion. Per three humdred million people that's only forty grand each, but wait. Half of them can't or won't work and half of them who do shuffle papers or work in the service industry which just pushes the same pile of "money" around. Any suggestions ? T
