Thing is, it doesn't look, in principle, that difficult. A balloon, a paper plane, camera and some sort of tracking facility... Between a few people, it needn't cost a huge amount.

I wonder why they went for a plane? Some sort of parawing sounds safer and more reliable...

First of all let me say that I am flattered to be in your thoughts GT.

Now as to the Brits; An American team beat them to it. Or at least
did something very similar. A balloon ascent, "video" instead of stills,
and a parachute with an iphone for GPS tracking to retrieve.

Still, they are both great. Now I want a combination where someone
uses the live feed to guide the airplane back to a predetermined
