Members of a key panel created by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act- otherwise known as the stimulus (i.e. porkulus) bill- are having a little pre-Thanksgiving get-together to discuss ways to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse in the program. The D.C. based group is having this oh so productive meeting at the Ritz. In Phoenix. The http://www.weather.com/weather/monthly/USAZ0166 looks about perfect for golf, no? I provided the link. All over the talk shows last night. No word yet about spouses, room rates, golf, Thanksgiving layovers, etc. But I suspect there will be. Good to see them supporting Az. They might as well, I suppose, since at least two other states are expected to pass strong anti-illegal-alien laws early next year. Selah.
