ORIGINAL: hermione83 Hey there.. I've never talked to a doc about sexuality reality stuff Absolutely talk to your doctor about it. Docs are unembarrassable: they've seen and heard everything. If you're seeing a neurologist about your narcolepsy, they can get you started, or your family doc, or your gynaecologist. If you're in the US and expense is a concern, go to a university clinic or a woman's health clinic: I'm sure they'll bend over backwards to help. Sure, a low percentage of women can't orgasm. But what if there were a simple 'cure' for it, like changing or adding to your medication? Sexual pleasure is a right, not a privilege. DON'T PUT UP WITH THIS WITHOUT ASKING!! Remember, if a 27 yr old guy came to a doc saying he'd never had an orgasm, they'd cry, wear mourning and throw a telethon for him until he'd come. And hell, if it's related to his narcolepsy, they'd have TWO telethons! Easy to say, tough to do, to not put pressure on yourself and try to enjoy rather than self-monitor. Like many women, with your first orgasms, you may feel the few seconds of additional muscle contractions and sleepiness aren't anything to sneeze at ;-), or that it's even better in company. Like anything else, practice practice practice! Good luck! We'd love to hear from you in six weeks/six months, even if no multiple O's that at least you're enjoying your homework and you've talked to an doc or clinic about this.
