I want to give to someone I truly love.

I don't want a present, I want to present one, to the person I truly love.

Daddysredhead -> RE: Presents! (11/15/2010 9:33:58 AM)

BKSir -> RE: Presents! (11/15/2010 9:35:40 AM)

A raise would be nice, but, I doubt that will happen.
A nice garnishing set to go with my knives.
My "starshine" to be able to come up here with us.
A new motherboard for M.
Snow! Lots and lots of snow!
But most importantly, for people to be happy, content and love eachother, if only for one day. That's what I want for Holiday day of whatever... oh screw it, it's just easier to say "Christmas."

Und, a trip to ze lumberyard!

GreedyTop -> RE: Presents! (11/15/2010 9:41:52 AM)

I want BK to come cook for me.. and in return, I'll give him massages, much non-sexual hugging, and a trip tothe USF campus

soul2share -> RE: Presents! (11/15/2010 10:40:18 AM)

Sunny, send me an address... I found your tea here..... I can empty the shelves for ya....I know what it is like to want something you can't get where you are!

myotherself -> RE: Presents! (11/15/2010 10:52:09 AM)

I don't care what I get, I'm just sad I can't give what I want to.

My pockets are very empty at the moment, and it looks like some of my friends and family will be getting homemade gingerbread santas and trees instead of something more substantial, but they will be made with care and love.

If there's one thing I would love to get...well...that would be telling [:)]

VideoAdminAlpha -> RE: Presents! (11/15/2010 3:07:49 PM)

It's a shame we cant tell you where our wish lists are......lol, just teasin!!!!![;)]

soul2share -> RE: Presents! (11/15/2010 3:29:35 PM)

My wish list is easy.....I WANT IT AAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!

Really tho, I'm there with the little bunny......money is really tight right now, so Christmas is going to be thin.  I told my mom to send the $$ she would have sent to me to my son and his fiance...they can use it more than I can.  Since I lost my job, there's not even people to make cookies and stuff for...but I have neighbors I'm friendly with, so maybe I'll do a bit of baking after all.  I'm thinking of volunteering, maybe in the hospitals for the holidays......I know how lonely it can be sometimes.

And *ahem*...I likes gingerbread too!  [;)]

ShaharThorne -> RE: Presents! (11/15/2010 4:38:31 PM)

I go to Dollar Tree here in town and get the fixin's for bath sets.

I am working *got the glitch fixed* on the peace sign afghan.  If no one bothers me , it should be done by Saturday...and I mean no kids driving me crazy!

BTW...mom has not find the chocolate horde yet...<WEG>

favesclava -> RE: Presents! (11/15/2010 4:42:26 PM)

Master wont allow me to buy presents for Him so i make them instead. no idea what to do this year but it will come to me.

Shadow-tiger -> RE: Presents! (11/15/2010 4:54:15 PM)

All I want for christmas is a fresh start and a new life. ie a good job that's not around here.

Then I could stop stressing.
Then I could do nice things for my friends.
And my family.

It's the simple things that bring the most joy.

Daddysredhead -> RE: Presents! (11/15/2010 4:58:49 PM)

Christmas is always extra nuts because of Thing 2's birthday being the same day.  Even when money is tight, I always try to make sure that Christmas is special and that her birthday is fun.  The other bit of crazy is that Thing 1's birthday is 6 weeks later.  It's hectic in my world, but nice.

DB and I sometimes exchange gifts, sometimes not.  He's not a big "present" person.

Some wisdom would be nice. So I make better decisions. Yes, that's what I'd like for Christmas.
we all make the right decisions at the right time, Peaches. Don't let retrospect cause regrets [image]http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/budhug.gif[/image]

sirsholly -> RE: Presents! (11/16/2010 3:15:44 AM)

i want one of those thingies that start the car from inside the house.

It really sucks when i have to bundle up and trudge my ass out to start the bloomin' car.  [image]http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/snoshovelf.gif[/image]then slide my way back in so i can dress/bundle up the LoudOne in his 35 pounds of winter finery, only to hear "Mommmmmy....i haveta PEEEEEEEE!!!" when i finally get all ten stubby fingers in his gloves. So...i stand there, holding his gloves and cussing myself for not buying mittens for his silly butt. As i stand there, i begin to melt and puddles form. But i will not...WILL NOT, DAMNIT...take off my boots, coat, etc just to put them right back on.

So...finally, his bladder is empty and i redress his ass. Coat, scarf, boots, hat, and those silly gloves. He is ready. Sadly, he can't move, but damnit, he is ready. Annnnd off we go...or we would, 'cept now *I* have to pee. So off comes the boots, coat, etc. (shuddup).

So...finally my bladder is empty and i redress my ass. Coat, scarf, no hat cause it messes up my hair, and my silly gloves. I give the kid a massive push to get him moving (he looks like the Michelin Man) and off we go.

When we return home we undress in the mudroom prior to entering the kitchen, leaving the snow covered items to melt/defrost without making a mess. Once entering the kitchen, i step in the hours-old puddle, slip and hurt myself. This greatly amuses the Michelin Man.

One of those car starter thingies would prevent injury.
