Aynne - that's what I'd bring to the party!  Chapchae!  I actually make that really well!  I made it for the fam back home a couple of years ago.  They loved it!

Lady Pact, of course, I would be delighted to meet you.  You are welcome at my home wherever I am.
blessings,
sunshine

There's always a subset of "I can't get a date" posters making the rest of us feel pretty good.

My theory is that a lot of the "can't get a date"posters are ones who use online only in order to try and meet someone and are hoping to find someone without having to actually put any effort into it.

There are always so many posts about how the "scene" is full of up themselves poseurs etc or that munches are boring or populated with geeks and yet the people who say these things are the ones who still sit back and complain about how they can't meet anyone.

Like Sunnylicious I have made some wonderful real life friends from people that post on here but in order to do this I had to get off my butt and way out of my comfort zone (did you know they speak a whole different language in the USA )

I have traveled overseas, interstate and just around the block to meet kinksters and yeah some of those people have not been for me but hey... it beats whacking off in front of the computer right?

Just out of interest Sunny, who would you hook me up with from the forums at this party we are going to attend?

You've gone to far wanders... That is my second most favorite thing to do. The first of course is thinking what id do to you once I had you tied to the yardarm...hmmm somehow I gotta fit sailing into that list.... Walks away muttering to myself

You are residing in Korea, that's Asian enough to be wonton.

This here board (the WHOLE of CM) seems to Me to have taken quite the hit from the "Politics and Religion" forum.  That is, that marquee-crawler-thingie at the top IS irrestisible and every so often, can't help myself.  P&R drains one, even reading it as you <CaringandReal> point out.  No wonder we're all dried out - we've been drained by that board.

YIKES!  The poison!

In a way, I'm glad the P&R forum exists.... keeps that 'junk' corraled.  The other side of that coin is that the poison is concentrated and seems worse than the sum of the parts.

What to do?  Hang on P&RS - - - I rarely go anywhere else (inc. humor.)

P.S. to CaringandReal: You forgot "bitter" as in "bitter, wrinkled 70-something face wearing a prune frown."

Way way WAY back in my IRC days this one channel I used to hang out in on the U Net. Would have "gets" get togethers every so often in different parts of the country. Depending on who was local and the location <vegas was grande fun>you might get upwards to 30 - 40 folks.

I am totally down/up with that . . . and if he just happens to be wearing only a Roman centurion strappy leather kilt, well . . . .

The silliness on this thread is a great example of what I'm talking about.  We have all come to appreciate Peon's posts - quite a great guy (you're the example, man, but there are plenty who could be... don't anyone get offended, please)... but how come he's single?  He's a great guy - smart, funny, sexy as hell, and single.  This is what I mean.  All these terrific people and alone (the ones who don't want to be alone).

It reminds me of my days hanging with all gay guys.  Great guys, terrific, wonderful men, and single.  Years of singleness.  I hate that.

best,
sunshine

My general thought is, if people try one method (such as CM) and it doesn't work for whatever reason, they need to figure out how to make their profile better, and also need to go after attending fetish groups, etc. If people aren't willing to really make an effort to get what they want, or there are a lot of unexplored avenues that they know about and have not tried to use, then they shouldn't be whining. Or at least, not too much. If they have tried all possible avenues and made a major serious effort over years and still can't find anything, then I guess they can whine lol
