UPDATE: TSA to investigate resister...

Michael J. Aguilar, chief of the TSA office in San Diego, called a news conference at the airport Monday afternoon to announce the probe. He said the investigation could lead to prosecution and civil penalties of up to $11,000.

If everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY, asks for a pat-down instead of going through the scanner, then TSA will have to hire more workers due to the shift in market demand. Better still, unless you're a business traveler, just drive where ever you're about to fly to (unless its overseas). Let's face it, the airlines are making way too much money as it is, and they're not bringing any sanity into the debate on behalf of the consumers, therefore, let a few airlines go out of business.
