LOL.... new age "color science" meets 1930's visiting nurse pamphlets.... Color does not directly relate to any food value. But, if you look at the commonly available vegatables available in the 1930s, some of the color myth makes sense as you can prevent some deficiency diseases by having "green leafy veggies" three times a week and "yellow veggies" twice a week and red fruits at least once a day. Yep, this will get you a minimal dose of vitamin C, niacin, iron, and fiber, which is why it was put that way to get nutrition across to the illiterate back in the beginnings of a concerted public health service. The huge blanket claims in that video are absolutely hilarious in that they claim the color has anything to do with it. Yep, the "doctrine of signatures" from the dark ages is alive and well in the nutrition literature. Stefan
