I've always thought she is. She's certainly closed minded and a control freak when it comes to her family's happiness. She's interfered in the love life of her sister, and her children. Yep.  They can tinker with titles to make things look OK, as with 'Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother' (from what I remember, the first ever to get 'queen' twice in her title) and Diana, Princess of Wales.

Charles isn't the 1st man or woman to allow his / her mother (family) or job to influence who he marries or what choices he makes in life. People do it EVERY day.  To say that the Queen is responsible for causing divorces and makin people in her family miserable is funny to me. They each as individual made choices, still make choices, weather she influences them or not they are their choices. They have to own the consequences and reprocussions of those choices. To "blame" the queen for his infedility and long time affair is like the guy next door saying "my mommy made me do it". Seriously.
 
Neither Charles nor Dianna were perfect in their marraige. They both made some horrible mistakes. They both had very different motives for their marriage. IMO Dianna did ALOT of good in her time as Princess. I think that people will have a hard time looking past the history between Charles, Dianna and Camilla when it comes to referring to her as Queen. Should she get a title? I think protocal demands it if he becomes King, what title. Well that is the delima for the royal family I suppose.

By rights, Camilla should be a princess now that she's married a prince. But the queen was so concerned about people's reactions that Camilla ended up being a duchess.

I have no doubt that Charlie-boy doesn't think he's done anything wrong, and once mummy-dearest has popped her clogs he'll try to get his old woman into queeniedom.

But then again, he's never really been revered for his intelligence or his ability to keep his stupid, over-privileged gob shut.

He'd make a god-awful king and she would be national embarrassment as queen.

If we need to have royalty, then at least let William have a go first. So far he's not made any major cock-ups, unlike daddy...

I think how William and Kate have handled themselves wonderfully so far. They both have shown ALOT of class IMO and I think that they are more suited for the position of King and Queen that both Charles and Dianna where or Charles and Camilla.  I think that although to many it is an empty title to the country it is one that should be dignified and Charles and Camilla are anything but that IMO. I sure wouldn't want Charles respresenting me yet alone my nation. Lol
