There are occassions that I enjoy some playful teasing with my girls.  This fun is relaxiing and enjoyable for everyone.  However, some types of teasing/pranking I just can't pull off.  Forget it if I have to try to pull off a story and keep a straight face.  My girls can read me like a book it would seem.  I can't keep a straight face... I can have a really good story line and they know I am Bullshitting them.  I start to smile... giggle and before long I am outright laughing.  I just can't bullshit without laughing. 

so is there something that you try to do... that no matter what you do,  you just can't pull it off?

Yup....pretty much along the same lines as you. I am not good at roleplaying because to me it feels like a lie, and when I try to tell a lie my face freezes in this really weird expression...a dead giveaway. It doesn't even matter how small it is, like "Did you go out and buy me something for my birthday?"...my answer "weird frozen faced No".  Thankfully, my sons were born with the same affliction so it made it easier on me to know when I was not getting the "real" story. Busted!!!

Not that I can think of. But, I do love how I am really getting the hang of reading my Joe. He had told me while we were still an online relationship that people said he was very easy to read. I thought that wasn't really true because online I couldn't always read his thoughts and emotions very clearly and would have to ask. Yesterday I told him that those people were right. I can read his face now very well. Unless he has be blindfolded of course. [;)]

Well my partner can't pull off hiding a surprise from me to save his life.  He's been successful a few times at KEEPING something a surprise, but not once has he actually surprised me when I didn't know a surprise was coming.

You have to train your voice box to vibrate. unforntunately not everyone can do this. i can purr like a cat, trill like gizmo on Gremlins and in general make a wide array of unusual noises lol. my natural voice is fairly low but i can reach some inpressive pitches.

my daughter was also born with the ability to vibrate her voice box but no one else in my family can. Maybe we're just wierd lol

I can't hide what i'm thinking or feeling. It flashes across my face as if i had a big neon sign on my forehead. Drives me nuts. LOL also means i can't lie worth a damn. Probably why i just never bother to do so.[8|]

fun question. I have been told I cannot lie at all, good thing I am not inclined to do so. I cannot touch the tip of my nose with my tongue or fold it in the position my kids used to call "taco tongue". While I have been told my speaking voice is sexy my singing voice is HORRID! And now that I am getting olllllllllllld and decrepit my memory is faaaaaaaaaadinggggg...........

I cannot keep a surprise from Sir......I too cannot touch my nose with my tongue (damn my mom and dad could touch the bridge of theirs').......and I find I am having more "senior" or "blond" moments than I used too........but most of all I cannot just cannot keep the ending of a good movie to myself.......LOL

When I see somthing that is wrong, or some one is doing something wrong IE at work, if there is a way that something is supposed to be done, I cant watch someone doing it wrong and not say anything to them. I like things done the right way I guess, ~BK~

But seriously, my brother and I once convinced his friends for an entire WEEK that my name was John, not Ben. 

What I can't do is card tricks, and any sort of flare bartending.

Have you tried wearing an executioner's hood and having a movie soundtrack
playing in the background, maybe just a few red and black candles for lighting?
