I heart Stef.

Licken, lots of guys have that in their profile. I suspect that it will not affect spammers in any way.

Not every Doma is a pro....it would b a good thing because you would actually alert pros not to contact you for tribute.
Simple. Honesty best policy

Real pro dominants do not have to SOLICIT clientele, they are flooded with offers. The ones that write are scammers interested in money for nothing. They're like ju k mail, that you toss into the recycle box.

It may look negative to some potentials.  Some people do not like profiles that have disclaimers or negativity in them.  I am not sure that posting such a disclaimer will reduce the number of pro dommes contacting you and it may cause some worthy ones to pass you by.  Just something to consider.

I would rephrase that with real pro dommes don't solicit because they aren't tacky, they might not always be flooded with offers (hey it's a recession and paying for a session is a luxury and people tend to cut down on luxuries first, understandably), to be honest, when I worked as a pro domme I only had one, maximum 2 days a week, sometimes only one day every 2 weeks, while I wasn't hurting for clients I wasn't working back to back, like coming out of a session and straight away heading for the next, sometimes I was sitting around for 2 hours reading a book, practising something. Though I would never have thought of contacting somebody who is looking for a lifestyle relationship, it would have been tacky and I wasn't offering that.

I maintain there is nothing wrong with a Domme putting into her profile that she is a pro and she is looking for clients, just like there is nothing wrong with a guy putting into his profile that he isn't interested in pay for play, I believe it can be done in good taste without dissing anybody.

I had a pro dom *profile*, but I didn't cruise the interwebs trolling for business. Here in SE Michigan, I can't imagine anyone being flooded with BUSINESS, but I think there would still be plenty of offers/bargainers! :)

Tacky? No.

But you might end up with all the amateurs that tip over when they put on six inch stilettos.

And then there's the whole, "whip it" where you end up with a silken spun chocolate mousse.

Fabulous as that might be.

You're probably going to get pro dommes contacting you anyway, because like the many guys cruising for partners, they probably don't read the profiles anyway.

Your best best is to target the person you want to meet and write her directly. Okay, maybe the word "target" wasn't the best one to use, but what I mean is that you're going to have a lot more success if you are proactive in your search than if you are only reactive. However, if you're concerned that after you contact someone and she looks at your profile, then perhaps that disclaimer might be more helpful than not. But you're probably going to have a good idea of who is a pro and who is not when you're doing the contacting first.

Another aspect to consider in listing such is that it may rule out those that are pro that are looking for personal subs/slaves. I know that when I am looking and see something either stating something negative (in general) or negative about pro-dom's I avoid that profile due to the negativity. When they just state "not looking for a pro-dom" I avoid it because it's unclear whether they mean "I'm not looking to be a client to a pro" or "I'm not open to any relationship with a pro" -because some mean one, some mean the other, and I'm not going to go writing someone to find out which if they're starting from a place that may exclude me. I just take it as a general Do Not Write and move on.

Plus, as others have said, putting that in there isn't going to stop the scammers and such any more than a female saying "Read all of my profile first" is going to actually get the wankers to read our profiles.

I don't think it's tacky.  I happen to have some lines in My profile that specify certain folks that I am not interested in being involved with if they approached Me for a dynamic.  For example, I say specifically that I'm not interested in women.  Why would it be tacky for a straight woman to say that?

As others have said, it doesn't mean that the folks who are just trying to make a quick buck aren't going to contact you.  That seems to be a part of the internet beast.

If it's done honestly and respectfully, it's a positive thing.  If you said something negative like "SCAMMER BITCHES NEED NOT CONTACT ME, I HATE PPL WHO ASK FOR MONEY, NO PROS, PRO DOMMES SUCK!!!" then it really reads as a negative all around and is likely to make people want to avoid you even if they are not pro.  Also, it doesn't actually stop scammers from emailing you anyway.  They don't mind cheating people out of money, so what makes you think they would respect any limits someone stated on their profile?

I would recommend something more like, "Respectfully, I am seeking a personal connection with another human being.  Professional sessions or financial domination are a hard limit for me that I am not willing to participate in."

To the OP: no, quite the opposite: it's a plus if you're indeed looking for a Lifestyle Domme. Just write, 'No pro-dommes' , or 'Lifestyle Dommes only'.

I wont argue with that LadyC..... Nice to see you back on the boards btw.

Chicken is right though, is there such a thing as a sensual masochist ?  The whole pain/pleasure syndrome intrigues me more than I care to mention.
