Hello,

Being new to this I don't really know where I belong or what I truly want, only that there is something great missing in my life and that I want to explore my sexuality. I have experienced some things myself such as saline infusions spamking, whips and clamps, but nothing serious, if that makes any sense?

I am in Athens, Greece, and really don't know how or where to look for some experience? To be quite honest I am a bit scared, but on the same hand I find it exciting.

Can you please look at my profile and give me advice? I need all the help I can get....

In this forum, there is a FAQ thread at the very top of the page.  In it, you will find a link to a thread that reads "Profile Help, How To Attract A Dominant Woman".

To be honest.... I am overwhelmed..... I have no idea what I am? Fuck there are so many labels? I know what I like as far as I know, but where to now? Athens, Greece? Where do I find people who are patient?

How did you guys get a sticky FAQ in your section? We don't have one in the sub/slaves section. :/

It was put up when it was requested from the Mods.  The Gorean forum has one as well.  I'm sure you could get one in the Ask A Submissive section if you were willing to do the work on compiling the information.  It does eliminate some of the questions that get asked repeatedly.

Hey there,

First; Welcome!

Have a good read of the FAQ of course. But quickly - And with the obvious caveat that as a male Dom I'm not your target market so to speak - You profile is probably fine for now. You come across as straightforward, and not at all creepy - both of which are a good start.

I think you might want to consider expanding the intro section a bit - as you get a clearer idea of what you're going for.

I'd also recommend that you follow these boards and make the occasional sane contribution, I've actually made more new friends as a result of posting here than I have from my profile!

Welcome to the boards, Alaska Man.  Actually he's right.  The folks on the boards tend to know each other pretty well and many many of us have met each other... It seems folks on the profile side are really frustrated with their lot in life.

If you have no idea "what you (am)", why the holey living fuck would you think anyone else would be able to help you discern what you (am)?

alaskan1961, it has been great exchanging letters on the other side.  Kinky guys who have been medics are...very cool.
 
This "newbie" has used a TENS as well as saline infusion and other things, lol, thank goodness he has now found the local group in Greece and has met two of the people in person.

Everyone starts off new and IMHO, it is good to be around others of our own kind while we are cutting our teeth...and even afterward.  Questions are good, and so is trying things out on onesself before doing it to others.

Open a profile on a nilla site, like Match, and ask a female friend or two to help you with setting up your profile there.  In particular, get help with photos.  You look as though you are squinting into the sun, and the background doesn't say "romantic" or "sensual."  You might want to make the text of your profile here to be the same as the Match profile, or very close.  A common complaint is that men try to attract kink-dispensers instead of women.  If you write your emails and profile the way you post -- i.e., sensibly -- then you'll be in the top 2% of men with submissive profiles on this site.

Another word about photos: it is irrelevant if your face is showing.  What matters is that you appear interesting.  Be someone that makes women curious and intrigued, and glad they heard from you.

I'm not sure there's anything I can do about the "squinting" thing.  This is the primary reason I *hate* taking photos.  Either I don't smile and my face ends up looking slack and dead, or I smile and my eyes disappear, LoL.  There doesn't seem to be much I can do about it.  :(
