Which is kind of funny as it is the web and e-mail especially which perpetuate these things.

Every other electronic communications medium -- telegraphy, telephony, radio, television -- has ultimately come to be mostly (not entirely but mostly) under the control of a few large enterprises.

When companies get proprietary I run. I don't use Facebook or iTunes.
