My pet's position is something similar. On her knees, legs slightly spread, buttocks on her feet. But I prefer her head up looking at me, and her hands behind her back, thumbs interlocked - like the military position of Parade Rest. Back should be slightly arched so that the breasts present well. I guess it is the military man in me.
And I think that is the point, it is what I want her to do, and for her to do anything else would be wrong - especially if someone else was telling her to do it differently. In that case it would mean she is taking commands from someone else, and thus being disloyal and disobeying my instructions. Personally I also think it is a sign of lack of respect from the person saying this in that he/she would try to tell you your Dom is doing it wrong by having you do what he wants.
Anyway, the respect is in doing it correctly per his instructions. Disrespect is modifying it. Keep on the path and enjoy the ride.
