When a Republican gets convicted on something like this they always say it's political. Maybe Joe Miller's attorney can help him on his appeal?

Tom DeLay was charged with illegally funneling $190,000 in corporate money.

It amazes me that he's saying that this is completely wrong, that the people who convicted him don't understand the law, etc.

The lawmakers are responsible for understanding the law thoroughly and for carrying it out.  He's showing himself unfit, and arrogant to boot.

And I hear he wasn't so hot on DWTS either.

Anytime a politician gets busted with his hand in the cookie jar they complain that it's political. Doesn't matter what stripes they have

Let me the first to blame Bush.

How the hell he didn't do a better job of keeping himself out of the loop and isolating himself from the money I don't understand.

Oh wait,  I do.  It's called arrogance.

If somebody said to me they're all corrupt I wouldn't disagree. I wonder if with the Citizens United case he would still be convicted now.
