allthatjaz -> YouTube allowing inappropriate videos (11/26/2010 10:16:58 AM)

I can't believe YouTube has allowed this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8b0q4W-hw7w
I have flagged it as inappropriate and I hope you will too.
Maddie was a 3 year old girl when she was taken.

pahunkboy -> RE: YouTube allowing inappropriate videos (11/26/2010 10:48:30 AM)

What is the meaning of this?

pahunkboy -> RE: YouTube allowing inappropriate videos (11/26/2010 10:49:34 AM)

If this is what I think it is-  it needs to go to the LAW.  To the authorities!

mnottertail -> RE: YouTube allowing inappropriate videos (11/26/2010 10:55:14 AM)

Two things, I think that so much happens on Youtube that they can't keep up with it, it isn't that it's allowed.........JUST LIKE HERE.

Secondly, bad taste is not against the law.

allthatjaz -> RE: YouTube allowing inappropriate videos (11/26/2010 10:59:21 AM)

Well lets hope that this person or his family never lose a child.

Lucylastic -> RE: YouTube allowing inappropriate videos (11/26/2010 11:04:32 AM)

Id like him to suffer, just not put anyone else thru anything,
I have a sick phuq sense of humour, but nah its wrong, more than bad taste for me.
I have a feeling tho he is lapping up all the negativity.

It just goes to show how many remarkable assholes there are in this world and how many of them use the internet to demonstrate what they are.

-- I watched the vid.   The guy/gal in the bag- is mentally challenged.   The beating of her is a crime.

calamitysandra -> RE: YouTube allowing inappropriate videos (11/26/2010 1:57:04 PM)

Disgusting.

DaddysInkedSlut -> RE: YouTube allowing inappropriate videos (11/26/2010 3:17:20 PM)

Is this in poor taste? Hell yes.
Should people be upset by it? Yes.
But is it against the law? I don't think so. Infact I think the the 1st ammendment would protect the people who created this video.

I will also add that IMO this is not what youtube deems as inapproriate content, although I may be wrong.

hertz -> RE: YouTube allowing inappropriate videos (11/27/2010 2:34:47 AM)

I think the video sucks. What a twat. It raises a question for me though.

I have a nephew who has just gotten into the internet. He's young (nine), but no younger than many other kids who access the web, and he's got a good group of adults around him to make sure he stays on the straight and narrow. I installed 'Open DNS' on his PC along with WOT and some other stuff to try and filter out the stuff he really shouldn't be looking at. It works pretty well, and I am confident that if his parents also keep an eye on him, he'll be OK.

I left YouTube accessible - he's into music. But now I'm beginning to wonder. It would be great if You Tube had a wider range of age restriction filters on it so youngsters could be spared this sort of shit.

The man beating the girl is assaulting her, and you see nothing illegal about his action ?

GreedyTop -> RE: YouTube allowing inappropriate videos (11/27/2010 4:10:54 AM)

Actually it does, when I hit the link 142 people liked it, 1002 didn't. I wonder how long before it gets pulled?

allthatjaz -> RE: YouTube allowing inappropriate videos (11/27/2010 7:38:00 AM)

I know that YouTube must be busy but 1002 have deliberately flagged this video as distasteful and its still running.

That is because a big corporation does not own the copyright.

Hunk,
You obviously did not watch the vidoe completly. There was no girl. No assault. It was a bad joke, mocking a situation. Nothing more nothing less and again as distasteful as it maybe there is nothing illegal about it.

PeonForHer -> RE: YouTube allowing inappropriate videos (11/29/2010 8:01:05 PM)

The Internet has led to some of the best of what people have to offer being spread across the world, but also some of the worst.

In his position, I'd be just a touch nervous that someone might recognise me and want to pop round to rearrange my outlook.

If they put that rearranging on you tube, I'd cheer em on.

How would that be any different than what they did? Oh wait, that would be supporting the assault and battery of another person which is against the law. So there is a difference there.
