Couldn't everyone have waited to light up until after it had been passed through. What does everyone think Willie will get in Texas for 6 ounces? That is enough where an over zealous prosecutor could try for on possession with intent to distribute.

That is a wee bit much for one person unless he'd be gone for weeks! But you really have to be clueless to be holding at a border checkpoint.

Well, it was a tour bus, and it was willie, so the amount kinda makes sense but yeah, don't know what they were thinking when they came up on to the check point,probably thought they'd get waved through

some people are just so stupid! like drug busts and checkpoints just started and the moron never had anything like this happen before? can't sympathize with someone who knows better and does shit anyway. maybe i'm getting cynical in my old age, but there's no real justice in this world, rich jerks like willie always buy their way out of trouble. don't even see why this kind of stuff makes the news anymore.

oh come on, its pot, a drug thats less dangerous then most over the counter legal drugs that are out there and somhow you can get more time for being in the same building as pot then a person who killed a whole family of people come on, dont bitch, the system sucks

He got busted with a 1/4 pound or so a whileback. He uses it instead of Valium or Xanax or alkeehaul. The 1/4 pound was ruled for personal consumption, as I am sure this will be. $2500 bond aint zactly screaming were gonna hang you! They won't do anything to him, this is *Willie* we're talking about here! One of Texas' favorite sons! If they tried to screw him they'd burn down the courthouse and hang the judge! Funny, I was out and about yesterday and one of my favorite Willie Nelson songs came on! "Blue eyes crying in the rain."

In a way that is the pure unadulterated form of communism. Not the shit they call communism today. But I have searched for such a utopia and believe me, Mapquest can't find it. Google would probably send me to a Nirvana concert. It's not really just money. Most places in this country if you get busted with less than a pound it's not much more hassle than a DUI, or other serious traffic ticket. Trafficing on the other hand ? He has no reason unless he decided he didn't like the shit. Money should not be an issue. They wanna charge trafficing, bust him with 200 pounds or so. Six fucking ounces ? I've totally "lost" more than that. I found it a couple years later all dried out. Nasty. So a fine, maybe a month in jail or so. Can you imagine being Willie in jail ? Like my last vacation, our cell was the hot spot. If I had Willie for a cellie we would be singin mufugs. There are times when I can sing, and his key is not so far away. Dammit, now I want to go to jail with Willie ! Still looking for that wall that I'm off of. T
