I never thought of wearing perfume while playing. When I get a playmate, I will have to try that.

My favorite perfume is "Gardenia", by Perlier. It is My signature scent. It actually smells like the flowers. It is light, and not at all chemical-ly smelling. It is not overpowering, either. You know, the kind of perfume that enters the room before you do, and is still there a half hour after you've left. [:'(]

I also like "Green Tea" by Perlier. It is a very light, clean, 'green' smelling scent. They say it is a unisex fragrance.

Then there is "Honeysuckle" by.......Perlier. I wear that when I'm in the mood for a light floral scent.

I love the smell of their "White Almond" bath and body cream. A light almond and cherry scent.

There are other fragrances by them I want to try.

Can you tell that I love Perlier products? They are high quality, use natural ingredients, and they are **NOT** tested on animals. That is a BIG factor in My choice to purchase them.

I suspect that I am not alone in having an array of scented liquid soaps to choose from...white tea & ginger at the moment.

Excellent!

What a woman should do is to get in the bath or shower.  Once she's wet, squeeze a blob of one of these soaps onto her hand, then apply it to her body.  Then rinse it off.  The method for traditional bars of soap is similar, but with these, the bar is held in the hand and stroked across the body.

Do you wear perfume while playing? Do you ever make the submissive wear perfume? If so what kind?

I adore perfume and my favourite was one that was especially made for me, years ago. This last year has been a struggle financially. Good perfume is rather expensive. I like to think I am a financially responsible person, so I've not bought any to replace my empty bottles.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Favorite Perfume (12/2/2010 10:28:43 AM)

I have exfoliating gloves, actually, Darling...but if you'd like to make a little bathing demo video, we'd be pleased to observe your techniques. :)

MsAmirah -> RE: Favorite Perfume (12/2/2010 1:30:08 PM)

I usually wear musk perfume as it's the only scent that works well with my body chemistry.  I've only ever put perfume (some Avon samples someone gave me) on a sissy slut I was playing with at one time.

BurningChrome22 -> RE: Favorite Perfume (12/2/2010 1:54:28 PM)

I love D&G 1 Le Bateleur

Iholdthestrings -> RE: Favorite Perfume (12/2/2010 8:03:22 PM)

I didn't mention this earlier, but it brought a bit of nostalgia when a couple of the ladies mentioned Lady Stetson... I never wore it, but when I was in high school, I rocked the regular men's Stetson touched very lightly to My pulse points. Something about that scent mixes well with My chemistry, I guess. I got more attention from boys than girls when I wore it.

PeonForHer -> RE: Favorite Perfume (12/2/2010 8:17:54 PM)

God Almighty on a pony, this is a boring thread.  Shut up, all of you.  SHUT UP!

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Favorite Perfume (12/2/2010 8:21:39 PM)

Oh run along, you MAN!! Off to Marks & Sparks with you, someone needs some black lace knickers!

PeonForHer -> RE: Favorite Perfume (12/2/2010 8:25:54 PM)

Yes!  Knickers!  Interesting subject!!  Well done, Lady Hib!!

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Favorite Perfume (12/2/2010 8:27:46 PM)

Damn! Now they'll say I've hijacked!

Iholdthestrings -> RE: Favorite Perfume (12/2/2010 10:39:09 PM)

Not so long as you put perfume on them before you make Peon wear them...

Sekhemet -> RE: Favorite Perfume (12/2/2010 11:08:25 PM)

Pee on - is no more or  less than a small minded child seeking attention in all the wrong ways - giving it to him will teach him nothing except to encourage him to continue being a dolt - NO ONE IS MAKING YOU READ THE THREAD ... you don't like it- don't read it ... move on small child, go play with your dinky toy.

PLAIN Samsara: Guerlaine
White Musk: Body Shop
Moments: Priscilla Presley ...

And it's FAR too expensive to spray it upon a slave/animal ... I'd get a cheap bottle that stinks like horse urine and skunk bait however to be doing that, and how shall we say "marking territory" - and yes I have done it in the past; expressly to humiliate them even further than simply perfume would do as cheap crappy perfume ... is just - vile.

Have you tried the PERLIER HONEY CREAM BATH?!?!?!  VERY very nice product - I used it for years before it was impossible to find locally and thus was forced to switch liquid bath soaps to another easier to locate brand. (I got sick of dealing with importing it Myself)
Word of warning tho - if you DO use the stuff people WILL actually try to eat it all on their own - EVERYONE tried tasting that soap - after all it LOOKS like honey, it SMELLS like honey - how can it be SOAP!?!?  Allow Me to assure you however it does lather, and it does not taste like honey judging from the looks upon the faces of the ones caught in the act!
On the UP side of that - if you do a scene where you desire to wash someone's mouth out - using this product as the soap to get it done; you will find that you have little resistance of the subject as their eyes and nose tell them it is NOT soap, it's a "game" - soon as it's in the MOUTH however, reality kicks in and the "joke" turns into a scene of epic proportions from which by then; there is no escape.

Enjoy!

I'm curious about this bit.. what have you got against Peon?

CallaFirestormBW -> RE: Favorite Perfume (12/3/2010 12:56:28 AM)

I don't use scents during scening, only because I really sort of like the coppery scent of blood when I'm doing piercing and cutting play, and the precise balance of human smells gives me almost instant feedback about what's happening with the person that I'm working on, and I don't like to mask that with overlying fragrances.

On a purely personal level, though, especially for work, I tend to either opt for balance or accentuation of my own nature in my fragrances.

If I'm seeking to balance Chaos and Fire, I opt for going with Davidoff's "Cool Water" perfume. I've always been inclined towards "wet" smells, that were relatively light. I used to really enjoy Love's Rain (of course, they don't make it any more), but I suspect that it would be... immature for my current awareness.

The other scent that I use, particularly for work, and most especially when I'm in a situation where I must command in a relatively hostile environment, is Sahara by Medini. This is a powerful, fiery scent, so I tend not to over-use it, but it does seem to augment my presence, especially in situations where the audience might be inclined to dismiss the information that I'm presenting, and such dismissal is not productive (especially where new regulatory issues are at stake).

One thing that is important, at least for me, is that I can't wear scents in any kind of "overwhelming" manner. My companion has severe environmental reactions, and if someone wears scents heavily enough that she actively -notices- them, they'll often make her ill. This means that even when I -do- wear scents, they're applied very discretely and with extreme subtlety.

It's all right, Greedy, Sekhemet doesn't know me, that's all.  [;)]

Grrr... I'll stand down, but only cause you said so.

*grumbles about people who make snotty comments about my friends*

Personally I think people (and I use that term in the broadest way possible) who use the term slave/animal on a forum and show nothing but contempt for their play partners in the mistaken belief that it makes them appear dominant are pretty much the pits anyway and seem to be more vile than perfume from the dime store.

Should you really use the term childish? Pot and kettle....
