1) To prevent others from doing this, remove personal info. When I first made my Yahoo IM account, I aswered all the questions thinking that I had to, and that only Yahoo or the police would know. It took months before someone quoted something I said to show me that my full name was being sent every time I hit the enter key; I almost had a freaking heart attack and carefully went back into Yahoo to get rid of that.. (There are only two people with my name in this entire country. Yes, I checked.) 2) Contact your phone company. I had to do this once. My local company had me pay something like $4 or $7 per month to have something called a phone trap put on my line, and I was to hit star and two or so digits after the offending phone call. They will let you know when three calls from the same person or location have been caught, and papers will come in the mail so you can go to the police and they can prosecute. I wanted it to look a lot worse than the required three, so I logged in dozens of calls for a couple of months, and timed prosecution right before Christmas. That paper and trap were the only things needed, I didn*t have to go into court at all and there were some bad repercussions for the guilty party...who lived in our town. 3) If you talk with people from here, use a Trak phone. I use one of these for meetups so that they won*t have my home phone until I really trust them with it. Sorry this has happened to you. Go to the police, talk with your kids, deal with this asshat together. Have your kids put a phone trap on the line. Btw, my family knows I am into BDSM. I downplay the kink and explain that through D/s, I get to wear the pants in the family as far as boyfriends go and I enjoy that. I told them that anything else is like...Halloween costumes for adults, and playing I Dream of Jeannie. Things they can understand without scaring them to death. I explained to mom that even when I was in fifth grade, when us kids played cowgirls and indians, we used jump ropes as our ropes, tying each other up. Nobody got hurt and we all had a lot of fun. If a seventy year old woman and a teenager could feel they understood without freaking out... My family would help me with phone traps if I got into trouble like what you're going through. Can your cell phone company change your number? The man went way too far. I don't even phone men who give me their phone number unless I have just been in chat with them and let them know I would be calling shortly, or have given them permission to make a call to my Trak phone. I have been here off and on for 6-7 years nobody has done to me what this guy is doing to you. Have a friend check your yahoo, because what you see is not what other people see. I saw cynthiamarie when others saw my full name, first and last. Best of luck to you.
