I am a artist that is looking for females models. The looking I'm looking for is a females that like to wear business suits, office attire, pantyhose, stockings, heels and love to be tied up with ropes… and like to have some photos taken. If this interests you, please contact me...

Welcome Rope, i'm sure all those business babes will come rushing round to be put into bondage, so that you can take photographs of them, i mean why wouldn't they?

No offense, dude, but you have no pics, can't spell, and are making it clear that you're not interested in women for anything but your fetish. I'd recommend craigslist, not here, and be prepared for lots of no-shows. And be prepared to show a portfolio so they know you're for real.

Hello,
This is a scary proposition. I'm not sure that dressing it up as a photographer/artist looking for models so you can tie them up and take pictures is working as a camouflage tactic. Plus, artist models generally get paid, were you offering a sitting fee? Would the propective model be able to bring someone with for protection? If you were offering some other things along those lines it would seem more legit and maybe someone would be interested....as it is this has red flags all over it.

Life is timing RopeGuy.

All of the beautiful, young, insatiable, bisexual, poly, delightfully submissive, bondage-loving, exhibitionist sluts that like to wear business suits, office attire, pantyhose, stockings, heels and also love to be tied up with ropes… and like to have some photos taken...

...are already here in my neighborhood.

Welcome to CM and the boards.

And what Steven and Lizi said goes ditto for me. It's called safety and most women want to be assured of that before they show up. For obvious reasons. Good luck in your search though, it may take awhile to find anyone. Juuuust sayin............

How will they be compensated? TFP or money up front? Do you have a portfolio? A contract? A website? What sort of camera do you use? What is your preferred style? These are all important things to tell a prospective model.

Welcome.
Do you work out of a studio, or your home? How many assistants do you employ? Does this wind up as a "POV" shoot?

So your 'style' is supposedly the tied up business suited female. You don't really know what Tanijaana was asking when she mentioned style because you aren't really an artist or a photographer. You are referencing your subject here, not your style- you'd have known that if you were doing photography as an art form for any length of time.

You brought up compensation as an afterthought only after being asked about it and the pictures on your profile might have been taken by you with a Nikon but they are in no way professional art pictures, the clutter in the background, lack of attention to posing, and lack of aesthetics gives that away. I'm calling BS on the photographer ruse.

You like tied up business suit wearing women and want pictures of them for your own purposes- end of story. You should have been honest and you might have found someone on the same wavelength who would do the pictures with you. This type of misrepresentation really stinks. Don't be trying to play pretend games with people in order to manipulate them.

I have to agree that the entire proposition has red flags all over it.  I myself have done professional studio photography, and any REAL pro photographer with any sense at all about how scary the real world is... would have offered all necessary info up front and in detail, to include rates of pay, contact names, exact studio location, telephone contact numbers, and so forth and so on, all out in the open.  Different members here have noted a good  number of very important things that are clearly missing in the original offer.  A pro photographer?  NOT!  No way.  Just a wannabe fetishist, I'm sure, and one with a very badly incomplete initial presentation.  In a word- fake- to the max.  Just my opinion, and a very reasonable well-informed judgement on my part.  No harm intended, but yes, it's true, it's a very scary real world out there.  One last thing; if this was real, any pro photographer can get all of the models he needs from virtually any modeling agency, and in a wide variety of price ranges too.  Realistically, if this guy just wanted to pay to satisfy his fetish... he should have just admitted such and have been openly honest about it- plain and simple.  Everyone, please be careful, always.  ~ JonRich

RopeGuy, you have to understand that we're coming from a point where most of us have heard it all, and have been through a lot of bullcrap with various people who've taken us in. We can be jaded, but for the most part it comes from the heart trying to get you to see what we see as a a story where you try to add to what was originally written to make it sound better.

No disrespect intended, but I read your original OP and your subsequent replies and think "been there, done that, wore the t-shirt to shreds" and won't be taken in again by anybody. I wish, but know that because I inherently trust that everyone thinks the way I do, which is to trust and believe that everyone is as honest as I am, I'll be taken in again.

I need to disagree with you Poohbear to a certain point. I see you are trying to be kind here...that's wonderful of you and I know the intro section is supposed to be for that, but Mr. Fake Photographer isn't getting into hot water here because the posters who have responded here are jaded as you seem to feel. It's because he's deliberately trying to mislead people and get something from them for his own purposes. I can honestly say my reply was not to make him see ways to add to his story and make it better as you mentioned...it was to tell him that he should quit with the stories altogether and come clean about what he is doing and what he wants, because it's not cool to misrepresent yourself to get something.

Poohbear, you say no disrespect is intended and it's is wonderful that you yourself feel that way. Disrespect is most certainly intended on my part however, make no mistake about it. What the OP is doing is wrong- it's not consensual if both parties do not know what the truth is and as you know consensuality is at the heart of things here. If he were to start over and say he has a fetish for rope-bound business clothes wearing females and wanted to know if anyone was up for that type of play and also could he perhaps take pictures of them for his use later...well, that would be different wouldn't it? The women would know what he was up to and they could then consent to it, you cannot give true consent to something that is being misrepresented.

It's like giving the homeless person on the corner 10$ because she says she's hungry and needs food but then she goes to buy booze or cigarettes instead. Would you have given the money to her then? Who knows. You would most likely feel taken advantage of though wouldn't you? Because you had given your consent to one scenario, not the other.

No, but most photographers know and say more about their camera than just the brand, now even with a cheap camera, with the right eye you could take better pics than the ones you are showing, I don't consider myself a photographer or an artist, but I wouldn't even show the pics you are showing as snaps. Seriously, there's nothing arty about them, there is no arrangement, the backgrounds are simply awful (and that is putting it nicely), you know using a white sheet as a backdrop (or any other solid colour for contrast) really isn't rocket science.

Didn't mean to put words in anyone's mouth Lizi. And I certainly don't agree with what he's doing. I know this is either going to get moved or I'm going to get my fingers slapped for this.

Yes, it's the intro section. I don't believe a word he says even if I didn't come across that way. I guess I leaned too much to one side trying to be nice. Believe me, there's no way I'd go to a stranger who claimed to be a photographer, had no portfolio built up (yes, I know you have to start somewhere) and was "working" on getting his website up and running. It all smacks of someone trying to get his rocks off. I'm not wearing rose colored glasses in this case. And as a matter of fact, I am jaded after seeing so many profiles, intros and threads that are by nothing but wankers.

There's still some good guys left out there, I've met a number of them on the boards and a few on the other side too. I've also met the larger majority who don't know their head from a hole in the ground and even if it smacked em in the face, they still wouldn't get it. Hope this straightens some of what I originally wrote.
