Hello all. You can call me Yulian. A Gabrielle came by our shop today and dropped this site's info on us, so I thought I'd come check it out.

What about me? Hmm...how much do I want to say? Been poly, open relationship now, but what I do is more germane to the discussion. I actually work in the industry down at a German fetish store (great imported gear and clothing) and am event coordinator as well.

What I'd love to do is start chatting with the other members here in Sin City to find out what you want. Because we have events planned (I'll be posting to the Events board) and we really want to know what people in the scene want to see.

Well, that was amusingly fast. Hi there. Like I said, I'm hoping to talk to locals because the scene here is...heavily Balkanized, let's say, and I and the people I know in it would rather it be otherwise. Not that everyone has to play with everyone, but that there should be a more centralized place for the communities to meet and socialize on top of everything else.

I'll tell you, it's a bit off-putting sometimes dealing with that territoriality.

Oh, it's not bad. I don't work the store so much as set up events, get models in, create ad copy, web material, all that stuff.

It's funny you'd mention "German" there (I know, shop subtitle). The store's owner is from Damme. But yes. We were tired of not seeing anything bigger and more fun in town, so we're fixing it. It's all set up.

Check the "Upcoming Events" section, search for "Las Vegas".

There will be more after that one, of course.

I see that you're in LUC. I know several people in that already. Spread the word, and ask if you have any more questions.

I'm not "officially" an LUC member (not even sure how to become one). I found out about their Mentorship Program from a Domme friend of mine, so I signed up. As the next meeting is the Christmas party, I figured it would be poor judgement to show up out of the blue for that particular event. I did join the mailing list, though, and will pursue more active involvement after the holidays.

I'll look into the scheduled event you pointed out; Will be able to spread the word to some other folks I know IRL that don't frequent this site but do frequent another site I'm also a member of.

I appreciate the offer, but I'll have to pass; Christmas isn't a good time for me, to be honest, thus the worst time to make an impression on a BDSM club I intend to join. (If I want to impress someone this time of year, it best be a hardcore masochist that I can unleash a bit of frustration and rage on... They'd appreciate my mood the most.)

And being that the Mentorship Program starts on Jan 2, I'll be meeting many of their members right when the holidays end without any delays.

Oh, and it looks like your fashion show made it to the other site without me; posted up by Lady Crimson, in fact.

Unsurprising that. We're trying to make the place more of a center for all types of activity than it currently is.

And SirGeoffrey1, you'd be surprised, but work is work. Oh, the level of tolerability is very high, that's for certain, but it's not as if it isn't work.
