I prefer my sub to be spreadeagled, but most hotels do not have four poster beds. Can anyone recommend any equipment or gear that can be used on a standard motel/hotel bed? Thanks.

An under mattress restraint system should do the job.  They are fairly easy to find and even the most vanilla toystores often sell them.  You could also try tying the ropes or whathaveyou to the legs of the bed down by the floor.  You would just need more length of rope.

Actually, the best thing i have found you can buy in a medical supply shop. Restraint devices. They are soft and can easily be tied to the bed frame.

Actually, you don't need any special equipment. With enough rope, you can secure to the castors of the metal support frame of the boxspring. And since these are already at the four corners, it lends to an implied spread-eagle (some beds, notably queen-sized and up, are larger than the metal support so you will have to wrap rope around the edges of the bed before securing to the castor for a true secured feeling). If not using cuffs on the arms and legs, be sure to keep the limb bindings loose so as to not cut off circulation.

Your local Adam and Eve or Priscilla's should have what you need. Of course independent stores may as well but I don't know what is in your area.

Ello!

I did once go to a load of trouble making my own under the mattress restraints - lots of stapping, clips, buckles etc.

In the end, I came to the conclusion that some relatively simple cord was simpler - for either under the mattress or under the castors of the bed. You can then attach your quality restraint rope to that (being nerdy I like the double fishermans for this ;-) )

Man, you people are all over achievers or else I'm a lazy SOB. I think I'd just tell Carol to lay there on the bed spread eagled. That'd keep her there as surely as any rope... probably more surely if I impressed seriousness on her.

I had a partner like that, I did not move (or quit whatever I was doing) without some sort of direction from him.

Ah, but sometimes, its not about the secureness, its about the aesthetics. Rope has a visual quality that can be quite seductive and beautiful.

Are not MOST FEMALES far more limber than males?

With cheerleaders in my past, I'm used to the limber, gymnastic types.

So, her lying spreadeagled requires NOTHING BUT PROPER INSTRUCTION!

Master will use four of His silk ties when i visit. The feel of silk is delicious on my skin, and they're long enough to tie. i, alas, am not limber, or rather, i am *too* limber, thanks to a hipbone mutation that basically lets the ball joint pop out of socket if i'm spread too wide. Very gross.

The Travelodge at LAX South has free waffle breakfasts. You'll burn off the carbs, trust me.
