BlutEngel - Bloody Pleasures
Let me touch your skin
Let me see your eyes

You will taste this sweet pain
You will like to suffer for me

See the light in my eyes
Feel the razorblades on your skin

See your sparking blood
Let me drink your life

And in my world of temptation
I will wait for you
I'll show you all the pleasures
There's so much we can do
Don't be afraid my darling
Let me be your guiding light
Don't be afraid my darling
There's no reason for you to hide

I kiss you from your feet
To your open mouth

I can hear you cry
When your blood begins to flow

I can smell your flesh
I can see your greedy eyes

You like to kiss me
With your bloody lips

And in my world of temptation
I will wait for you
I'll show you all the pleasures
There's so much we can do
Don't be afraid my darling
Let me be your guiding light
Don't be afraid my darling
There's no reason for you to hide

1) This song describes my thoughts of late.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVRhWM5ob2g&feature=related

Desperado- the Eagles

Desperado, why don't you come to your senses
You've been out ridin' fences,
for so long - now.
Ohh you're a hard one.
I know that you've got your reasons.
These things that are pleasin'you
Can hurt you somehow.

Don't you draw the queen of diamonds boy
She'll beat you if she's able.
You know the queen of hearts is always your best bet.
Now it seems to me, some fine things
Have been laid upon your table.
But you only want the ones
That you can't get.

Desperado,
Ohhhh you ain’t getting no younger.
Your pain and your hunger,
They're driving you home.
And freedom, ohh freedom.
Well that's just some people talking.
Your prison is walking through this world all alone.

Don't your feet get cold in the winter time?
The sky won't snow and the sun will shine.
It's hard to tell the night time from the day.
And you're losing all your highs and lows
ain’t it funny how the feeling goes
away...

Desperado,
Why don't you come to your senses?
come down from your fences, open the gate.
It may be rainin', but there's a rainbow above you.
You better let somebody love you.
(let somebody love you)
You better let somebody love you...ohhh..hooo
before it's too..oooo.. late.

2) This songs describes me consistently, on a daily basis.

This thread is turning quite sad. :(

Thanks for the claymation version. It's been a long time since I've seen some good clay work.

Love the Enigma song. I had forgotten about that one!

As for the first song, I'm beginning to think I should have known better than to start a thread like this at the start of the holidays. :(

Not to worry, Holiday Season or not! I have been doing some soul searching of late regarding assessing my willingness to allow myself to relate with a special lady I have recently become acquainted with. Like the waves of the ocean washing upon the shoreline with relentless power, so is Life at times when the waning of the Moon shifts toward a position that shines forth into the willing heart and soul.

Actually I am quite grateful to have bean able to contribute to this thread, as it has helped me shift from the internal mental realm toward a higher understanding amidst a realm I am least familiar with these days, that being the matters of allowing myself to feel what I once felt prior to My Beloved Companion passing. All goods things come forth when least expected, it seems.

Thank you, kindly!

Take good care of you!

Thanks for the kind words, Zevar. :) I'm glad things are changing for you. It's funny how music affects our emotions, isn't it?

I hope more people post to this thread. I want to learn your songs!

Today I am feeling inspired.

Errant thought - just downloaded Al something - On The Border. Less than ten minutes ago.

Al Stewart in fact. Almost completely forgot about the guy. Sounded good too, a nice crisp digital recvording.

Ah, more songs, most excellent!

I wish I had time to listen to them tonight, but the grinding wheels of bedtime are beginning to roll over me, squeezing the blood of my consciousness out into the roadside ditch as if it were grapes. Speaking of grinding wheels, I'm in a rather CRIMSON mood, tonight. Slow, magestic, dreadful, inexorable, with little flutes of life here and there.

The rusted chains of prison moons
Are shattered by the sun.
I walk a road, horizons change
The tournament's begun.
The purple piper plays his tune,
The choir softly sing;
Three lullabies in an ancient tongue,
For the court of the crimson king.

The keeper of the city keys <--- Keeper of keys! See? :p
Puts shutters on the dreams.
I wait outside the pilgrim's door
With insufficient schemes.
The black queen chants
the funeral march,
The cracked brass bells will ring;
To summon back the fire witch
To the court of the crimson king.

The gardener plants an evergreen
Whilst trampling on a flower.
I chase the wind of a prism ship
To taste the sweet and sour.
The pattern juggler lifts his hand;
The orchestra begin.
As slowly turns the grinding wheel
In the court of the crimson king.

On soft gray mornings widows cry
The wise men share a joke;
I run to grasp divining signs
To satisfy the hoax.
The yellow jester does not play
But gently pulls the strings
And smiles as the puppets dance
In the court of the crimson king.

Sigh. Most excellent choices, Pet Monkey. I favorited them both. Thanks for posting. :)

As for me, I've just been on the happy machine for an hour (no, it doesn't begin with SYB-, try TRE-!) and so I'm floating in a bit of... rapture.

Toe to toe
Dancing very close
Barely breathing
Almost comatose
Wall to wall
People hypnotised
And they're stepping lightly
Hang each night in Rapture

Back to back
Sacrailiac
Spineless movement
And a wild attack

Face to face
Sadly solitude
And it's finger popping
Twenty-four hour shopping in Rapture

(I'll spare you the Man from Mars, but I hear he eats... c.A.r.'s)

my puberty was very much this this, or this lol

This plays in my head every time I get behind the wheel of a car....I don't think that's normal

Ahhh, Rapture.

Stop by someday and hear it on the Termy's Terminal system. It's not much, only a real almost thousand watts, probably not even a dozen speakers. But we have these paddles we use for sign language now and are learning to form sentences with them. Inventing a new language almost.

Another one I like to crank is Kevin Ayers - Stranger In Blue Suede Shoes.

I can't really say that I AM a song. And not even a style. My playlists are multi genre. I'll play Don't Take The Girl, Stranglehold, The Magnificent Seven and One Tin Soldier in a row. Or I might play Seek And Destroy, Little Man, Uncle Salty and then If That Ain't Country. Don't be surprised to hear Bittersweet Symphony. Perhaps I'm a million different people and can't brerak my mold, no no no, no no, no. Hmmm, that's an even number of nos which means a yes, right ?

Since I am still trying to wake up here, right now I am THIS song.

If there is one song that describes my outlook on life, it would have to be THIS.

Later this evening, when the workday is done, I plan on being THIS song.

It's a peacefully quiet morning here, which is a rare event.
This is what peaceful sounds like to me

My "me" song would have to be Gitano Soy
although I sing it as gitana soy..to emphasis my femininity.
