Oh, bull-fuckin-shit. I've been active in the lifestyle for a ridiculous number of years, since I got involved before I was even of legal age (sci fi cons and the SCA are a great place for kink culture). While there certainly are a decent number of transgendered folks as well as transvestites/CD's and folks into sissification, there's people with *all* different kinds of fetishes in the scene ranging from leather to rubber to bondage, watersports, medical play, age play, pony play, etc. And only a complete idiot with no experience in the lifestyle would be arrogant enough to say that their particular kink is a requirement for being serious about the lifestyle.
I know some pony players who have spent upwards of $10,000 on their gear and who attend events worldwide, who are not particularly into any of the kinks you mentioned. But I guess you'd call them not serious about the lifestyle because they are not into your particular kink. I know some leather families that live 24/7 in strict M/s households, and again, they're just not into any of your particular kinks. I guess they're not serious either. Actually none of the leather titleholders I know are into your kinks. I fucking dare you to go to IML and tell them to their faces that they're not serious because they don't do your specific brand of kink. [8|]
Nobody fucking cares what kink you have as long as you do it with other consenting adults and you're not an ass about it. The problem here is that you're being an ass about it.
