Hillwilliam -> RE: Don't worry,it is still warm in FLORDIA!!!! (12/10/2010 10:02:53 AM)

The weather this time of year is one of the only reasons I put up with miami for 18 years.  It damn sure wasnt the low stress, low crime and friendly English speaking people.

Yea,Flordia has the change of the season's.The leave's start falling off when a hurricane come's and blow's the leave's off!!Actually,the winter time in Flordia feel's more like spring up north.The snowbird's(people who travel bewteen the north and south) are the one's who really have it figured out.Enjoy the north in the summer time and enjoy Flordia in the winter time... Of course,snowbird's are mainly retired people who have the money and the extra time to be able to go back and forth.

Look, I don’t mean to appear overly critical, but APOSTROPHES ARE NOT USED TO DENOTE PLURALITY YOU POORLY EDUCATED, TRAILER-TRASH REJECT!

Sorry ... that got away from me a bit towards the end there. Is there any chance you could possibly kick your other brain cell into action? A doubling of available resources might well help matters.

Renee, I'm north of you in J'ville, and it's a whopping 47 degrees here according to my yahoo......I didn't know that FL had winter when I moved here!

I was just in Jacksonville for the week of Thanksgiving, and the weather was purrrrrfect!
I lived there about 20 years ago, and since then, my mother and a sister now live there.
Lots and lots of awesome thrift stores, and a yard sale on just about every block!

*Pardon the hijack Charles. Happy sunshine to you too!*

If you're the product of any recognised education system I'd ask for your money back, because whatever they tried really didn't take.

PS: My teeth are just great, but thanks for asking, it's very sweet of you.

You could always move to SoCal, where the weather is warm but without the redneckedness of FL. There's a lot more Kink to be had in California too.

pyroaquatic -> RE: Don't worry,it is still warm in FLORDIA!!!! (12/10/2010 8:22:11 PM)

I moved from Tampa area to nowhere Virginia.

The only other thing to do around here besides farming involves growing a beard and shooting things.

Do I regret this?

HELL NO! While my kink related opportunities are nearly nil around here at least i am away from the sirens, druggies, and highway 19.

DAMN YOU HIGHWAY 19!

Charles6682 -> RE: Don't worry,it is still warm in FLORDIA!!!! (12/10/2010 10:20:40 PM)

TS,that's true.California is far more Liberal than Flordia.I mean,Flordia usually fight's social change very hard,just like many other state's in the South.After this past recent election,Flordia is about to become run by the very far right wing weirdo's.

Charles6682 -> RE: Don't worry,it is still warm in FLORDIA!!!! (12/11/2010 1:16:30 AM)

Although,I will say,some part's of Flordia are more liberal than other's.St.Petersburg,where I live,is fairly a "live and let live"type of town.That does make a difference.The Southeastern tip of Flordia toward's Miami is fairly progressive.The Flordia Keys are fairly liberal.There are other more "liberal" part's to Flordia.The trick is to find where these place's are at.

soul2share -> RE: Don't worry,it is still warm in FLORDIA!!!! (12/11/2010 3:42:23 AM)

Charles, dude....the point that Rapier is trying to make is just because something ends in an "s", it doesn't necessarily mean you put an apostophe there......it's "leaves", not "leave's".....that's all.  Plural vs. contraction is the grammar rule.  It would make your posts a little easier to read.....just sayin'!

The only problem with the snowbirds is that they drive like crap!!!!!  I remember them from living in AZ, and they were a huge taffic hazard there.....totally oblivious behind the wheel!  And how much they like to drive those big old cars......the Buick Roadmasters are the worst!  If you're driving behind them, it looks like there's no one in the driver's seat because they can't see over the dash!  And they get out on the i-states and drive 45 mph!  It's enough to make one homicidal!

Of course, it does make driving easier in the states that they live in for half the year!  [:)]

soul2share -> RE: Don't worry,it is still warm in FLORDIA!!!! (12/11/2010 3:46:55 AM)

Poise.....it was great that week, wasn't it?  Warmer than normal for the area, apparently.  Wish I'd known you were here, I'd have bought you coffee!

I love the thrift stores here......and they are HUGE!  I found my futon loveseat in one for a whole $49 bucks...it's practically brand new.  The cats think it's great to sleep on, I love it for watching TV....when I can get them to move over!  It's easier to just open the thing up.  But I never knew they made futons in a loveseat size!  There are like 6 of them within a 5 mile radius of my house, and I haven't even been in them yet!
