We're finally getting our first snow of the season.....looks like it's gonna be about six inches by the time it's all said and done.....as much as I hate having to shovel snow....winter just wouldn't be the same without it.

Better you than me, sweetie! It's bad enuf that it's 47 degrees here! I was under the (mistaken, apparently) impression that Florida didn't get winter........WROOOONG!

Your first snow? You're kidding! What part of Wisconsin? We've already had a foot and a half here in the Cities, with as much as another foot possible tomorrow. I feel badly that we're hogging all your snow; I'll do my best to redirect as much of it as possible your way for the rest of the winter!

Lakeshore area....30 miles south of Green Bay

you don't have to feel like you're hogging it all....you can have it!! If this is all we get all winter I would be happy.

....and Soul......if I remember right (which I know I do) you had a pretty nasty stretch about this time last year too. I remember it cuz I have two aunts snow-birding down there right now (again) and all they did was bitch about how cold it was there last year.....lol

we've had some light snow in the toledo area, but nothing big, yet. i'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop, it's like a tease, cold, blowing like hell and then gone the next day.

Soooo....not only did we get 4-6 inches in the area yesterday (prior to which we had absolutely no snow) tomorrow (Saturday) we are supposed to get another 6-10 inches. Local TV is already broadcasting the warnings for it and the storm is named too. UGH!!!
