Well, the election results are in. Now, what are your political predictions for the next two years?

I did a search on just that premise... and i had a giggle at what i found.

Saturday, September 18, 2010 Rob Diesel's Political Projection for 2010 and beyond... In the last few days being off this site gave me time to look at the world and think about what would actually happen in the next few years. Hope you enjoy....

November 2, 2010

Republicans win big in the house elections and finally get a 1 seat majority in the senate. Republicans will hold both house and senate come January 2011.

After 2010 elections

Hillary Clinton seeing the downfall of Obama's political career resigns as Sec. of State and starts plans for a 2012 presidential run in the back ground. Democrats claim she isnt cut out for the Sec. and starts to pound Clinton in the media. Women start to make a move, to protect her in the media. Rahm Emmanuel resigns and announce run for Mayor of Chicago, Axelrod resigns and writes a book blaming Palin for Obama's failures.

February 6th, 2011

On the anniversery of what would be Ronald Reagan's 100th birthday Sarah Palin announces her run for the office of the president. Palin does this in one of two Reagan childhood homes in Illinois, in Obama's backyard. This will lead to an eventual showdown in the GOP with Romney vs Palin in the primary election to come

March 2011

Obama handcuffed by GOP majority is stripped of power to promote socialist agenda. Obama however vows not to "modernize" as Cinton did in the past, provides perfect chance for Hillary to announce run...

April 2011

Hillary Clinton announces run for White House. Unprecedented challenge to incumbant president insues. Creates divide within Democrat party and heavy nasty primary commercials start.

Primary elections 2012

Clinton narrowly loses to Obama in the primary elections. Both sides spent nearly 250 million total on election. after defeat Clinton then goes out in support of Sarah Palin after he easy primary victory vs Romney. Palin won 35 of the 50 States, all southern states and actually won California, Michigan and Ohio.

Election of 2012

Economy dips down to 11.0% unemployment due to the Obama/GOP gridlock and this becomes the main focus of discussion of the election. Palin clearly wins the debates between the 2. Obama's new running mate Evan Bayh clearly loses debates against Palin's running mate Jim Demint. The race between the most hated conservative vs the most hated liberal ensues....

Palin wins the nomination for president with 57% of the vote, Palin suprises media with GOP wins in Michigan and New Hampshire. GOP takes back Ohio and Pa.

Obama blames loss on racist american media and briefly retires to Chicago before he becomes Secretary of the United Nations while finally admitting to his Muslim faith and Kenyan Birth.

After 2012

Palin dramatically starts to cut federal government and begins to close porous border. Overturns all of Obama's Executive orders and overturns Obamacare. Gives back 10th amendment powers to the states. Guiliani becomes Attourney General, Huckabee becomes Secretary of State, Romney becomes Commerce Secretary, Patreaus becomes Secretary of Defence.

After first year in office Palin begins to see recession lift with uneployment back down to 8% and gas prices are lowest in years ot 1.75/gallon. United States takes themselves out of the United Nations and sells building to Donald Trump.

2016

Palin wins re election easily vs new democrat Charlie Crist, Palin touts 5.4% uneployment rate, success in Iraq and Afghanistan (troops were removed from both nations in 2014 in victory), new National sales tax replaces progressive income tax and creates more prosperity.

2020 Palin provides cover for new republican president Demint and he continues strong conservative leadership until 2028. New party of the American Progressive Party

I doubt Hillary will run.

Tho I think she would serve in an appointed position again- I tend to think she is tired of the campaign frenzy. and lets face- Obama PUSHED her out---

In no particular order:

0bama0Care dies. Whether at the pen of SCOTUS, a death of 1,000 cuts administered by the House, or at the hands of the electorate in 2012, it dies.

Palin doesn't run.
Gingrich does.
Romney does, and drops out early.
Someone pretty new wins the R nomination. Evans, Daniels, a face pretty fresh to the national scene.
It becomes apparent early that the R nomination cannot be won without Tea Party support.

The economy continues to limp along, at best, and the Dims take the heat. In their worsening political climate, Dims try to distance themselves form their party and their President, esp in the Senate, frequently giving the Rs de facto control. It doesn't help. Rs take House, Senate, and WH in 2012.

At least one newly minted R state attorney general, and or one state legislature, enact measures requiring canidates for office small and great prove their qualifications for the office they seek. Wheter 0bama0 wins or loses (as he almost surely would) the early court decisions on the matter, he decides simply not to be on the ballot in those states rather than let SCOTUS hear the case (assuming they grant cert.)

There will be successful terror attacks in the US. Calls for rational religious profiling will grow; the politically correct will just grow more shrill.

The above assumes we avoid worldwide depression.

Lets See here is a long shot

Biden steps down after pushing through this last BS Bill, (which Obama crafted) And takes Sanders as new VP

The Dems begin to grown balls and fight everything the GOP offers and makes the president look good, nothing changes, but the GOP loses cause they can't get a bill passed and appear weaker then the Dems. The very rich abandon the GOP and take all their money to China along with the jobs, the Dems seem to grow a backbone, and the whole tax system is redone, so there is no more of this BS tax rate fight, I mean who pays the tax rate with all the loopholes away. What a bunch of BS to keep us (the people divided)

Oh good Lord, Tazzy! Are you looking for wild fantasies that are more about the personal biases of the poster (like the article), or actual analysis?

Way, way, way, too many variables. Class warfare looks like the Obama theme for 2012, skipping angrily down the Alinsky path. God only knows what happens between now and then, though.

I'm still puzzling on the bit with President Obama giving Wild Bill the White House microphone, and leaving the room so Bill could tell everybody what a good package had made. What the hell was that?
