Its crocheting and its a hook (since I claim to being a hooker) but right now, I had to clean the living room of all of my creations.

Yes it is cold. 22 degrees here but with the wind and humidity a "feels like" temperature of 6. Butterhead has been sent to the park to play WELL bundled.

Well, I was out this morning and it was pretty chilly, but it seems to be okay now......it's about 60 here. Runs like hell before I get pelted with snowballs! [:)]

The high today is supposed to be 67 F. i'm wearing cutoffs and a tee shirt. heeheehee. Take that, suckers. pam P.S.- It's okay. You all will have the last laugh next summer when it hits 115F.

I woke up to 10 inches of HEAVY WET SNOW this morning. Winds gusting to 35. Temps in the low 20's and wind chills in the -1's To top it off, it took me almost 4 hours to clear this crap. Normally takes me 20-30 minutes. Let me tell ya....that really sucks cuz I am gonna pay for this tomorrow!

It hit 47 today, a heat wave. Of course it was pouring down rain and snow should start late tonight, but we had warmth for a bit.

It is 22 F right now, going down to 5F. It is the fourth hour os a POWER FAILURE!! So it is dark, chilly, and harumpphy INSIDE, blizzarding outside. Fooey!!

It's not supposed to freeze at night and be in the 50's in the daytime in Fl at this time of year! Harumph! Someone forgot to tell Mother Nature that we are having global warming not global freezing! Just glad I don't live with MasterG2kTR and all that snow - also that I no longer live in the NW where all of this starts.

You all are gonna hate me, i think... [sm=afraid.gif] It's been an unseasonably WARM and NICE this weekend being in the 70's yesterday and it got up to 84 today. i'm not really worried about the snowballs now, so start throwing! [:D] [;)]

Hibbie, light candles inside...you'd be surprised how few you'll need to heat a room up. I used to poke holes in a large coffee can and keep that and a lage candle in the car in the winter time....if I got stuck someplace in my car, I could use that for heat and save my gas. Hopefully, by the time you read this, you'll have power......hope your birdies stay warm.

The weather scientists are saying we are in for a La Nina year (as opposed to El Nino), so I am expecting to hear lots of complaints about the cold weather. While I don't like the cold, I can happily say that at least it looks like Christmas time!
