Oh good grief I've been shopping for months and have forgotten so much.

GD is getting a DVD he's wanted, an Atlas, and Keith Richards new book.

My son is getting a photo book I had made, sweat shirt, gloves, lots of food and car trip munchies for the vacation he is taking the boys on 12/26, a key chain photo thingy. He is hard to shop for because he currently has no permanent residence due to traveling for his job.

His SO is getting a new fancy leather purse and part of the big basket of food mentioned above.

My grandsons are getting......Lego sets, remote control dirt bikes, clothes, and stuff I don't remember.

My daughter is getting one of the above mentioned photo key chain things, bird feeder and food, a book she wanted, scarf and gloves and lots of food.

Her hubby is getting a book (sense a theme here...?) gloves, food (another theme...).

My grand daughters are also scoring....Melissa and David shopping cart, play food, clothes, big teddy bear, and stuff I forget.

The guys that work for me are getting food baskets.

I got myself a jacket I've been wanting, that went on sale for 70% off on Saturday.

I know I missed a bunch of stuff, because I always do, and have an 'ah haaaaa' moment when people are unwrapping gifts.

I'm giving my son the DVD drive for his comp that I know he needs.

I'm giving his mate and the mother of my new grandchild a Geri-pack to tote said child around in.

I'm giving the baby his first teddy bear, and the baby's big brother (age 3) a Spiderman truck (he loves all things Spiderman).

I'm giving the rest of my nuclear family a 61" flat-screen TV (bought at a steal!) and a Wii.

I'm giving my Husband what he insisted that he already had - everything.

I'm giving myself my health and peace of mind back.

I'm giving all of YOU my sincere wishes for all the happiness you can handle, and then some.

~*Life is good.*~

LOL, I know how you feel LaTigresse, I put gifts under the tree last night, and I have NO idea what's in about half of them anymore. I love that though, it'll be an exciting gift opening time for everyone. :D

For those that have everything or i'd need to take out a mortgage.
I send little hampers, filled with preserves, tea, chocolate, all from local, small organic businesses, and pick flavours etc, they wouldnt usually buy. Kind of tasters.
I'll give the source of they like.

Isn't it fun??? I started shopping way early so I could spread out the expense. Started looking for good deals, etc.... Then, because I HATE wrapping, I started that early also.....so I seriously don't remember what all is in there!

I got a little treasury of Korean something or other for all the fine folks who are visiting me next month.  Just something small - nothing really big, but it's beautiful and useful.  Actually, I like it so much I want my own!!!

I mailed stuff over a month ago, so I kind of forget.

Exactly! $20-40 per paycheck is FAR easier than a few hundred or more in December. And by the time Christmas rolls around, there's a closet FULL of swag.

Oldest birthday is today, and he asked for a room remodel as a combined present. We will do the renovation part, and he will contribute the money he scores from grandparents/aunts/uncles towards the furniture. He settled on a really cool look, and his room will be awesome when completed.

Middle One is getting a professional sandbag for his Taekwon-Do training.

Youngest lobbied for a big TV, and we bought a used one at a really low price, as everybody is upgrading to flat panels.

All three are getting assorted small goodies I have been squirreling away as surprises.

The Guy gets some computer/electronics thingy or other. He pointed, I bought. Also a mound of his favourite candy, Baumstämme, as it is only available at Christmas time.

As a family, we are getting annual passports to a local amusement park.

The sets of grandparents and my brother get each an electronic picture frame with a slide show of the boys growing up.

Fudge for all.

Oh, and Hillwilliam? We buy presents for our pets too.
In Germany we do not have Santa Claus, we have the Christkindchen. And in our house, there is also the Christhündchen (dog), Christkätzchen (cats), Christfischchen (fish), and Christechschen (lizard).
A feeding device shaped like an anthill for the lizard, special munchies for the fish, new catnip toys and some really fancy food for the cats, and our dog gets monstrous bone, a new toy, and a new, huge, snuggly teddy bear (yeah, our big newfoundland sleeps with a teddy bear, wanna make something of it ? ).
