Weird Phobias?

Status: offline 		Anyone have any weird things that strike fear in their hearts or just plain squick them out?

Mine are cardboard....I know, weird huh. Not just any kind of cardboard...that rough stuff that egg cartons are made of. I can't touch the stuff...does the same thing to me that nails on a blackboard seems to do to others.

That and streetsweepers...you know those huge, monstrous ones? I will drive 10 blocks out of my way than have to pass a streetsweeper. If I'm walking and I see one coming...I am soooo out of there. They scare me to death.

Alright:

I don't mind living spiders at all.  But dead ones...  Just the thought right now.... 

Also, slugs.  Yep.  Slugs.  Those things that go 2 feet a day and get killed with salt.  I am scared shitless of them.

Other than that, I'm not crazy.

Status: offline 		I'm not so much scared as annoyed when someone scrapes a fork across styrofoam. It gives me the same sort of feeling that people get when they accidentally bite down on foil.

Phobia of having food in my teeth or on my face.
 
Having blood tests- i pass out every time.

Status: offline 		Tunnels........driving thru them bugs me out, and I do this weird thing where i have to stick my finer out the window if I have to be in a tunnel, I feel like its the only way I'll get air.........and I am some what normal....honest lol

pssssttttt benji....do what I do....I put my phobias on my hard limit list...no cardboard covered crosses, spanking benches or implements, no streetsweeper scenes...and NO green beans.....ewwwww!!!!!

Hey!  Real slaves have no limits, remember?

Besides, I also have a phobia of my hard limits being ignored.  Can I make it a hard limit to ignore my hard limits?  Or is that usually a hard limit?  If not, would that not defeat the purpose of having hard limits, if they were not hard limits?

You guys have metal bristles on street sweepers????? Strewth.. We have heavy duty bristles as found on commercial yard brooms......

Spiders and I have an agreement that they leave when I enter a room.. Am seriously acrophobic

My face.. No one except Neets can touch my face with out an instinctive defence/attack reflex from me (Near broke some proddy female one night when she was igoring Neet's warning about touching my face)....

There are times when I can't handle a crowd so I just walk outside or somewhere isolated and have several cigarettes.....

Especially if its not cold .. Partially frozen is almost ok but still gross.

Driving over bridges or high overpasses ... There's this one overpass that whenever I'm riding in a car and we go up it, I have to close my eyes or I will literally start whimpering and hyperventilating in utter terror.

Just a little technique i used to get my son and step sone (at the time of my last marriage)  from freeking out when driving over bridges... We'd all chant "Bridge! Bridge! Bridge! Bridge! Bridge! Bridge! Bridge! Bridge! Bridge!" It keep the trolls confuse so the can't appear and attack travelers.......

On the occasions when I've been stuck in traffis under a railway bridge I'm known tyo be mutterig to any oncomming train.. "Come on you #@%$#@^^$@! Come and get me if you have the courage..." I have a problem with the real posibility of the sky falling and crushing me (Ask any Celt about this and the Ground opening up and swallowing us too)

Actually its not trolls that scare me. I could kick a troll's ass if I had to.

I'm afraid of the bridge collapsing and me drowning in my car.

With the overpass ... I often have nightmares about being trapped in a car thats driving straight up at a 90 degree angle. I know that at some point the road I'm on is going to run out and then I'm going to fall straight down and die a horrible death. I cant get out of the car. I cant stop its ascent. I always wake up just before I die. *meep*

Status: offline 		Oh yeah.  That is right.  I am extremely claustrophobic.  In a subway in Montreal I was on during rush hour and it was jam packed.  I freaked out.  I can not handle any confined spaces.

Status: offline 		I'm phobic about balloons.  I get panicky and can't breathe.  It's so bad that if someone at work gets a baloon bouquet the front desk people call me to warn me.  Embarrassing, but true!
