SnowRanger -> Favorite Fragrance on a Man (12/12/2010 11:31:03 PM)

Hello A/all,

Before I get "on subject," there is a current thread on perfume. My sense of smell has be wrecked by heat and soot and dust and ash over the years; but, every once in a while I will catch a whiff of a perfume that will elicit a strong (and usually pleasant) memory. I am told that intense reactions or memories from smell are not uncommon.

Getting back on subject: I want to 'Ask a Mistress' What fragrence do you like most on men?

Have you ever smelled a man's cologne or after shave or body spray or what ever and think, "I'd LOVE to take my flogger to him?"

Conversely, Have have you ever thought, "PEE WHEW I HAVE to take a single tail to that guy?"

I have a selfish reason for asking. I am going to try to civilize myself and will be looking for advice.

Respectfully,
Mike

Paco Rabanne! Bay rum. Iin small quantities! I have always felt that you should get close before you can actually smell a person. :)

Don't ever use Obsession from CK, I recall with dread house shopping a few years ago, a rather nice house but the guy had drenched himself and the whole house in it and the smell was just horrible, we passed on it as we joked that he might have a dead body somewhere and just sprayed everything to mask the smell.

Yes, to both of those questions.

I don't know the names of most men's colognes, but some almost mesmerize me while others can trigger a panic attack.  I still like Old Spice, Stetson is okay, and I detest Calvin Klein.  Sweet musky types or ones with citrus I enjoy, but ones that smell like...pot (sorry for saying that word here, lol)...I cannot stand.  Maybe they call it woodsy but that's what it smells like to me.

There are several scents that draw me in.. sadly, I have no idea what any of them are called.

I feel the best scent for men that makes me weak in the knees is Aqua Di Gio by Armani.

Didn't Pete Rose teach us all about Aqua Velva, because a Man wants to smell like a Man!

oh Hib I LOVE Paco Rabanne ...yumm.  There is a new Paco Rabanne one called million or one million or something, in a gold bottle that I smelt the ohter day which was lovely.

A current fave of mine is a cheapo called Whisky.  I love a man wearing a nice after shave.

81song -> RE: Favorite Fragrance on a Man (12/13/2010 8:37:19 AM)

I do not wear the stuff, never did like putting chemicals on my body. I shower once a day and try to eat right. I have never even used underarm stuff just don't like it. If I want to get the attention of  a women it will be a host of things like eyes and personality.

tiggerspoohbear -> RE: Favorite Fragrance on a Man (12/13/2010 8:49:16 AM)

I personally love Polo, have for years and have also developed an affinity for Swiss Army. Unless I can find real musk oil to wear, I've taken to wearing a little Swiss Army myself and always get compliments, even as a female. Very few believe it's a men's fragrance but I couldn't give a hoot.

I find most women's fragrances too "smelly", I have an aversion to strong odors and a little goes a long way. Now if someone could tell my sister's sister-in-law that dousing herself in half a bottle of whatever fragrance she wears, I'd be home free. Thank the rubber duckies I only have to see her about 3 times a year. [;)]

I find the natural scent of Him to be intoxicating, especially after a hard work/play out.
However, there is this man that works at a local store that I can smell (happily)a mile away.
I made a point of asking him what he's wearing (not to be confused with flirting).

Hey Sweetpea, now there's a suggestion you could send off!!! [;)][;)][;)][;)]

LadyPact -> RE: Favorite Fragrance on a Man (12/13/2010 10:18:20 AM)

Truthfully, it depends on the man.  A person's body chemistry can have an effect.  In the example above, polo can actually smell better on one person than another.  So it really depends if the person has found the 'right' scent for him.

For me personally... Drakkar Noir goes straight to my thighs....

MrKicia -> RE: Favorite Fragrance on a Man (12/13/2010 5:46:12 PM)

My wife is simple.  She likes old spice "pure sport".  I have it in deodorant form and body wash form.  I use the body wash maybe once a week.  Deodorant daily.  Both are mild so you can only really get a good wiff if you come in close proximity too me.  The way fragrances should be worn.  I have to admit, it does smell good on me. [;)]

I tried Old Spice once, but my Dominant had a severe reaction to the mold in the nutmeg.

My best friend and former lover wears Stetson Untamed. On him, it smells like "Take me to bed and have your way with me"...but on others it's not always the same. Like Lady P noted, a scent is a very personal thing.
