Fuzz Kooky Jackie... HOWEVER, what do they call themselves? I had a cat once that would only answer to one particular word. And it was a word - a verb in fact. And, no it wasn't F*ck or anything like that, you whackjobs! I realized that my cat would only answer to that, so evidently it was her name. Maybe they will tell you their names.

I thought of "Drap" for the first, but agree Sylvester is best. I really like "Kashi" and "Jigsaw" - but I totally agree - cats name themselves, so don't try so hard. Just listen to them. Friend had a kitten that decided friend's sneaker was his plaything AND residence. Obviously this cat's name was "Sneaker." He did have a little bit of sneakiness in him, but not much. LOL!

i had a cat Pumpkin, who came to me on Halloween. Mittens had white paws. Mischief...dummy was always getting into fights. Scooter, always ran at high speeds and "scooted" away from people. Cats definitely name themselves. Just wait a bit and see what characteristics they have.

My daughters cat would only answer to Lil Bitchie. My daughter called her Whiney Butt, but she never paid any attention to that name. The kitten was standing at the door meowing her head off one day. I looked at her and said, "Lil Bitchie, shut up!!!!. She came running over to me and jumped into my lap. LOL. Cats do name themselves.

Gracious was named Gracious because she was.. very gracious, and a total flirt. Her brother was named Noodge (for those of you familiar with the word, it should be self explanatory) Amos- family tradition. Cashew( because he looks like a cashew when he curls up) MM.. that one I would call Munchie

I name all my cats after gangsters. No shit. I've had Lucky, Guido, even a Bodie... The latest trio has names that come from The Wire.

Our cats have learned to come to what we call them. Grendel responds to Grendel, Grendel-butt, Crendly, and Whiney-butt. MIA knows that she's MIA, Miss MIA, and MIA Mayhem, she's also Orange Cat, Stripey Cat, and Jerk Cat. Fernando responds to Fernando, Hernana (that's what Holly's nephew called him for a short while, and rob thinks it's funny), Little Bastard, Fucking Bastard, and Dammit. Gwen ... as far as I know, we only call her Gwen or Guinevere ... and she does respond to both ... kind of ... she's probably the worst about it. As for the pictures, they are cute - I wonder what their owners actually have named them ...

FR I'll never forget Chip. Chip was named Chip because he rode on my shoulder. That's right, I walked around all over the place, even outside. When Chip got older he learned not to dig into my skin so much, I figure he got tired of me oooing and ooowing when his claws sunk much deeper into my skin. I also learned how to walk more carefully. We just didn't know quite WTF to do when he got pregnant. Only one time we could not tell the sex of a cat by it's behavior. Sneaky fucker. T

People flip-it's amazing how they react when they look over while driving and notice a cat on my shoulder, its bloody awesome. edited to add-look left for picture of the villain.
